Agreed. Mid to late second is the best we could hope for in a trade. Not sure if that's even realistic at this point to be honest.

The only way I could see Collingwood getting Carlisle on top of Treloar or Aish is if we trade out one or a few of our players.

Kennedy - Kennedy will no doubt find it even harder to break into the side with Treloar and Aish added, so trading him out now while he has some sort of trade value has merit - early 2nd rounder anyone?

Witts - my pick to get Carlisle, but will only consider trading him if we can replace with another developed ruck to assist Grundy - I've heard Kruezer floated around a bit, could work albeit how injury prone he is.

Scharenberg - Can't see him going anywhere with his best mate Aish on the verge of coming here. Been reported that he's currently in negotiations writing up a new contract as of today.

Oxley - I hope we keep him but would have some trade value.

We lost Lycett and we have no more rucks on our list after the first 2. Has battled injuries this year but is still highly rated by the club. In the first year of a 4 year deal so he's tied up long term as well.

So combine all factors and you would have to make it an offer too good to refuse, which I don't see you doing.

Fair call, but i reckon might depend on what you use pick 20 for... What if picks 20 gets you Jake Carlisle and fills the hole down back you need that might just be the difference between winning a flag or not.
