If someone is enthusiastic enough and interested, they would just about strive to reply ASAP. But if they aren't... it probably seems like more of a chore and they either put it off "til later" or just never bother.

I have lost patience with some of my female friends and their poor communication.
I am sick of the same excuses I keep getting for slow replies and/or no replies.
"Sorry I've been real busy with study/work".
Now surely no-one is that busy that they can't pick up their phone to send 10 sec text.
And when you notice that they have been on Facebook or other social media that clearly indicates a cop out
I'm encountering this behaviour far too much and I'm starting to think It's something I'm doing wrong.
But these girls at first are usually great communicators, super chatty etc, then suddenly overnight they disappear off the face of the earth
Now is this just a common female trait to be slow communicators?
I can handle having to wait a few hours, but i draw the line at over 12 hours to get a reply.....
