Cant wait to see the outrage on here when we are asked to wear home jumper + white shorts. A lot of people don't seem to realise that it's up to the AFL to determine who wears what in finals, we don't get priority as the home team. Cast your mind back to last year when the AFL asked Port to wear their clash against Richmond.

That situation came up because a Big 4 love child of the AFL hadn't designed a suitable clash jumper, as was evident the several times a home team had to accommodate Richmond as visitors.

This situation is vastly different. Hawthorn have a jumper that prevents the clash, they just designed an ugly as sin clash jumper and are now embarrassed to have it in their finals history. Response should be suck it up, not "we'll allow a clash because you asked".

Gary seemed a little peeved in his response of their twitter page, when asked about our "obsession" with the St Kilda jumper. His response was "it's not an obsession, it's our home jumper" I hope he hasn't gone to the dark side

They seem so frustrated, started getting more and more blunt in their response. What I don't think they get is just a little communication would go a long way. If they were like yes things are still in the works we'd probably not pester them as much.

He's just frustrated with all the pestering we're doing. Which means its getting through at least.

If the club/Gary are frustrated now, just wait til they see how much shit they get when they only change the home to a jumper we never wanted, and neglect to bring in the jumper we actually wanted, but think they did the fans a great favour.

Don't see why they wouldn't produce a set anyway, we had SGIO royal wings in 2005-6, couldn't be that hard to make one set at the start of the year especially when you're a few months removed from being forced to wear your clash jumper at home in Friday Night Footy.

"Hey, we're launching this brand new home jumper next year, that the AFL ticked off months ago, what would be the best way to do so?"

"I don't know, but definitely not by wearing it at home if we got a home final, much better to wear our much hated current home jumper that's being scrapped anyway instead."

I think our club has become inherently lazy really. No work to pull in members required; plus they wish they didn't have to put up with us pesky fans wanting our jumper back. Why should they lift a finger when there is no motivation?
