Scharenberg over came two career threatening injuries to play majority of this year in the VFL and even stretched 4 AFL games together.

Freeman hasn't been able to get a hamstring right, which is generally a 4-8 week injury. Just think about that for a second and try and work out the differences as to why we may of been offering one more money than the other.

I understand all that and that's why Freeman was asking for substantially less but we still wouldn't barge.

I understand what you mean, and almost agree but they aren't facts.

The figures are all speculation and we don't know what Scharenberg signed for nor do we know what Freeman was offered. I suspect Freeman leaving has more to do with his mismanagement of injury or competition for spots rather than the amount we offered.
