I'm still hopeful (but not informed) that young James will want to join uncle Keith and his ex-coach Nathan from next year.
Then again, he and Sam may still be playing rock paper scissors to decide who gets to go to the destination club.

Firstly regarding contracts and teams trying to force us to over pay etc.
Th club would have worked out budgets well in advance and be well prepared.
This is why no good players have been forced out of a club in the professional era ever.
Yep I said it.
No good player has been forced out of a team by salary cap in the professional era. The last best player was Hardwick , and in that time the competition was not the same professional operations they have now. That was over a decade ago. Even Hardwick was a good player rather then a star. No star has ever been forced out by sal cap then ...
Kennedy and mcglynn are the only other two examples , and both were fringe players for their team....
I've just got some mail on hartlett, it could be interpreted in a few ways. Will sit on it for a bit and let you stew over it.
Ablett and Franklin both left for money their previous clubs could never match.

i think i will take that with a grain of salt.....Alright now my source is usually dead on, but as I said. It's open to interpretation.
Hartlett is a chicken stew man, rather than beef. Hartlett to sydney roosters confirmed.

maybe i amI think you are underestimating the gravity of the situation.
That...that is salary cap pressure...They were not squeezed out due to salary cap pressure.
One got a huge offer by a cashed up expan team throwing money at him and the other got offered an unreasonable amount of money by a team with a larger salary cap.
He's absolutely a fan favorite. If nothing else I think this thread proves to Hammer how much everyone loves him.

Is that under review?I think it's already been confirmed that roosters have trade restrictions to 450k. Phew, that was an easy one to put out.
