Btw has any rugby league player ever successfully converted to another sport? (Union doesn't count).......oh and neither does Mundine because he has lost against any half decent true boxer. Just curious.

Mundine is a w***er of the highest order - but suggesting he's not a successful convert due to the guys that he lost to is unfair. Boxing isn't really about wins and losses, it's about making money. And Mundine has made a friggen mountain of it.

Folau and hunt made over a million playing AFL.....very badly. Boxing is corrupt, lots of people make money from it.

Bengals, Bears and Steelers seem really popular in Melbourne
I was excited to see a guy with a Lions cap on @ the Royal Melbourne Show yesterday.

I genuinely think there's a lot of bullshit manufactured hype from Hayne/Agents/Media, (buying up his jersey), and that the regular aussie isn't sucked in by it, and that genuine fans of NFL have their own teams and wear that gear around. That's not counting all the Islander teens wearing Raiders gear purely as a fashion statement.
Raiders apparel will spike after release of 'Straight Outta Compton'.

It'll spike after Straight Outta Compton, and will spike just before Straight Intta Carson

I suppose one good thing for Hayne, when the 49ers drop him to practice squad, no other team is now likely to pick him up off waivers, so he gets to stay on San Fran!! Good news for him as he can then spend the time to get to know the game. In a year or two he could then crack a start as returner. Win/win for the rugby league legend.

K.Hunt was showing good signs before he clearly got too involved in the 'extra-curricular' stuff.

Patriots then daylight then more daylight. Nobody else really stands out at all.
I've noticed several people wearing Packers gear at the Game Day Village this year. You must of had your eyes closed, or you were just looking out for me with my Pats hat on ;)

A serious boxing fan wouldn't say that despite how much we dislike him. Mundie had some good wins against excellent fighters; Sam Soliman, Antwon Echols, Danny Green, Daniel Geale, (Geales 1st loss) and many wins over other top ten fighters as well.

Eddie Charlton was a multi sport champ. Graham Hughes was an NRL players and State cricketer. Hoppa won the Aussie Heavy title. The reason NRL players don't become multi sport champs is because they would be crazy to leave a sport they are making good money, to something with perhaps no future. So by the time they leave the NRL they are too old for other sports anyway. Not because they couldn't.
