Name any key forward we have drafted since Pav that has shown more? Reality is, Tabs was a speculative rookie pick. He has done extremely well given how far back he was when he was drafted.

I would be more unhappy that Fyfe wanted to leave us and would commend Bondy for getting that return as opposed to mid teens compo pick.

Pretty sure that Mayne kicked a goal from outside 50 in the 2013 GF (brought us within 3pts of the Hawks). So can kick further than 40m. Finished top 10 in the Doig. Kersten can't even get a regular game, and probably doesn't even finish top ten in the Cats VFL B&F.

Tab's isn't a spud he is a rookie listed player that is tracking pretty well. He took 51 marks in 15 games which isn't bad at all considering the delivery he was getting. He seems to just get better and better and with a bit more size and weight I reckon he could become very handy. He won't ever kick 50 goals in a season but he is so much better than Jack bloody Anthony was for us.

I like Taberner, I just think Tabs doesn't use his running ability well enough ala N.Riewoldt style

I'm pretty sure he was made to play closer to goal this season. I remember it being talked about in preseason.

That's more a recruiting fault than Tabs being any good. Name any regular key forward partner Pav has had? Personally, I think Ryan Murphy was better. The fact we've never had a regular partner for Pav means that Tabs has "Bradbury'd" his way into contention for "best fwd after Pav we've ever had".
