I think you've got to have a little compassion for the Hawforn fans though. I mean, when a team has a fairweather president such as Newbold who couldn't even see out his tenure because things were going to get a little tough for his team, you can see how that culture of bandwagoning really is ingrained into the fabric of the Hawthorn Football Club, and the fans are basically forced to swallow that up.
