Paid $6 at Topham mall. Its not that far to walk.

UPark offering an $80 a year deal for parking for Crows games. It's on their website.

But if you alternate between their car parks on the right day, you can get in for 6 bucks at every game. So it's only $66 to pay by the game.

Went to the Sheffield Shield match on Saturday, SMA wanted to charge me $13 to park a scooter in their empty car park (!)

Usually I park under the trees at the bottom of the hill for nothing, as do a few other motorcycle people.

I've written a "please explain" to see wassup with that.

And yet the gates are open for free to attend anyway.

Yeah, it's stupid. I went to the Shield and was stunned they were charging that much. It was $10 last year and even that was too much. It's as if they've decided no-one will complain because the tickets are free.

Not that I'm complaining, but I pay $$$ to be a member of the SACA, I should bloody well get in for free already.

Plus, there was a sign just inside the ground saying Aust v NZ was showing in the Phil Ridings Bar, so off to the Phil Ridings Bar I go (go NZ!) and they've got college basketball on... because IT forgot to program the TVs to change the channel to show the Aust v NZ game.

Is it no u park anymore?

Went to Coopers last Friday for the first time to watch soccer.

Couldn't believe you can park at the Ent Centre for just $4. Bargain

Got my reply from the SMA.

Hello Deaneus

Thank you for your enquiry, apologies for any confusion on game day.

As part of the completion of the Northern Car Park Re-Development and our new partnership with Wilsons Parking Group all Car Parking Policy at the Adelaide Oval have been reviewed, and I can confirm going forward motorbike, Scooter, Mopeds will be charged as a standard vehicle would, at present that amount is $18 for all major events, (Cricket, Football, Soccer, Concerts etc.) This has been updated on Adelaide Oval Website and SACA Website earlier this Cricket Season.

Going forward we will ensure all parties are aware of this, as you mentioned you discussed with SACA Membership Services inside the venue.

In regards to the Phil Ridings Bar we will endeavour to ensure future scheduling of TVs in Function rooms are correct set up and should they not be on day, be able to request a change.

Please feel free to contact me should you have any further questions.

18 to park plus the time it takes to get out.

I was fortunate to get a free pass for the BBL final and getting out of there and clear of North Adelaide was shocking.

$18 will fill the petrol tank three and a half times on the damn thing!

I should have consoled myself with a burger (starting at $10.50) or a beer (starting at $8)

You could ride these next time ... just sling them over your shoulder, no parking fees.

Parking is going to get worse for this upcoming footy season methinks. It seems the convention centre car park in the riverbank is set to have the bottom floor closed off most of the year, and I heard a rumour that they've scrapped their game day special.

So it seems the convention centre HAVE scrapped their $10 game day special for parking. For the first game, I just left my car near the entertainment centre (for free) and caught the tram. This week, unfortunately, I need to drive in. Does anyone know of anywhere in the CBD that are doing car parking for under $15 for game days? Preferably somewhere in the northern part of the CBD (as close to North Terrace as possible).

Just to have a rant: I was trying to park at the W&CH last week (my little boy has weekly treatment there), and the carpark was super busy, with loads of football supporters parking and walking out of it. Who the **** uses Children's hospital parking to go to the football?

Gives options on U-Park. Gawler Place one is the one you desire I guess.
