Yes .. two shades of GrayAnd that's not counting the votes Robbie stole from him.![]()

Well last year, Mark Ricciuto said Patrick Dangerfield was the second best player in the AFL. I wonder if Paddy will make Roo's top 50 this yearI have always thought he is overrated but in the AFL player rankings he is 5th. Only an Adelaide supporter would see him as the 5th best player going around.

Crows fans dont rate him anymore. Not even top 20I have always thought he is overrated but in the AFL player rankings he is 5th. Only an Adelaide supporter would see him as the 5th best player going around.
Apparently as soon as he put on the blue and white hoops his disposal turned into the worst in the AFLCrows fans dont rate him anymore. Not even top 20

First showdown of 2013. After half time I moved from my usual spot in the members on the wing to be in amongst some Camry supporters.
I knew Port were going to get a run on (such was the style at the time) and I wanted to be in the thick of it when they did. Some clown behind us announced to the world "bring on the Dangerzone!" and "where's the Dangerzone!?" It was such a zinger phrase that he had to keep repeating it.
Que Paddy coming on the ground, getting smashed by Ollie's shoulder and running straight off again. I then took pleasure in the asking about where the Dangerzone was located for the rest of the match, while he had zero influence and we ran away to another sweet victory.
Round 8 this year: that same bloke will be yelling, "Somebody stop Danger."That moment was the greatest bit of timing I have ever experienced. Literally 10 seconds before some crows bloke behind me yelled "Who's gonna stop Danger?" The moment was such that nothing needed to be said, just a slight turn and wry smile. He knew the mistake he had made.
Severe lack of Chad Wingard here, might need to load up before the bookies catch on.View attachment 215600

Sloane is a star, don't be silly. He's not the 5th best player in the comp, but he is under rated if anything.I have always thought he is overrated but in the AFL player rankings he is 5th. Only an Adelaide supporter would see him as the 5th best player going around.
I think we can write off his career Brownlow chances after his dismal polling this year.Severe lack of Chad Wingard here, might need to load up before the bookies catch on.
He's one of those perennially "underrated" players like Nathan Jones, whose status as "underrated" is so overstated that they're actually adequetely rated.Sloane is a star, don't be silly. He's not the 5th best player in the comp, but he is under rated if anything.
Yeah it was a poor showing but I still believe he is the most likely out of all our players to win one. If he keeps averaging over 2 goals a game and 20 possessions the umpires simply cannot continue to ignore him. Winning a few more game this year should help too.I think we can write off his career Brownlow chances after his dismal polling this year.

The beauty of Chad is that he can be a midfield machine too, the trouble is he is so damn good at playing that Half Forward role that Kenny is reluctant to play him more through the middle. But his career is on a steep upward trajectory and more midfield time is the logical next step for him.Yes they can.
Boak is our highest chance. Clearly. Proven poller. Wins clearances. Decides games.
Consider that Priddis won a Brownlow. Clearly the award favours midfield machines.
Is it? He won't get that much better than he is now and there's not really a need to move him away from the position he suits perfectly and is dominating in.The beauty of Chad is that he can be a midfield machine too, the trouble is he is so damn good at playing that Half Forward role that Kenny is reluctant to play him more through the middle. Lol you know what we mean. Clearly statistically he is over rated, but amongst the AFL public id suggest he is not quite percieved and or subjectively rated as highly as he should be.If he's been rated as the fifth best player in the comp but he's not the fifth best player in the comp then this is the purest definition of 'over-rated'.

As Dylan said though, maybe most people do realise this and hence he is adequately rated.
From the list of Brownlow winners that is not just a forward midfield role, which is where he may play, but a full midfield role. Apart from Gavin Wanganeen, Tony Lockett, Bernie Quinlan and Kelvin Templeton the Brownlow winners from the last 40 or so years have been midfielders, rovers or rucks. The beauty of Chad is that he can be a midfield machine too, the trouble is he is so damn good at playing that Half Forward role that Kenny is reluctant to play him more through the middle.
