Does anyone understand the new food labelling percentage labels. What if a company import orange concentrate and use 95% australian water. Its still misleading

Which is alarming given that the vegetarian / vegan diet is usually highly processed. I'm not referring to the guy we're bantering with, i have no idea about his diet, but the vegetarians and vegans i know eat alot more shit than i do. Their diets consist of alot of GMO corn, wheat and soy, not to mention the trans fats they don't bat an eyelid to.

Not what I'm saying at all. They're against fast food like that but never the less eat alot of processed shit.

My diet isn't perfect but I ear alot of eggs, veggies, good fats, meat. Have been with a vegetarian for a few years so have slipped into eating Dahl's, rice, beans etc. Not a great diet for me tbh.

I understand and respect why people are vegan / vegetarian. There are parts of me that think they may be onto something from a spiritual perspective. However a bigger part of me sees that alot of animals are killed in wheat, corn and soy production. And I also believe that humans thrive on a healthy meat diet.

and use makeup and skin care thats been tested on animals. As well as eat/drink conflict/slave chocolate and coffee.

I had a housemate who was an extremely unhealthy vegetarian, as in, had the worst diet i've ever seen; extremely highly processed. As well as drank non fair trade coffee and ate non fair trade chocolate; used the worst soaps for animal testing. He used to give me grief about eating meat; saying, that "I don't kill things just to satisfy my taste buds" and crap like that.

I didn't challenge him because it was obvious that his views and opinions were on unstable ground and i can't be bothered arguing with irrational people about these things.

But he once asked me if i wanted one of his coffees and i said, "you know how you don't like killing animals? well i don't like enslaving people in order to get cheap coffee"

THEN he said, well you shouldn't eat organic vegetables as backpackers are treated like slaves on those organic farms, we only get paid a few dollars and hour.

I just couldn't believe that he compared his experience working on Australian organic farms with chocolate and coffee slave trade.

Yes & there's more examples we could mention to prove they are hypocrites.
Allot become one for attention or to feel good about themselves with out realising they could be more harm than good, it's like a religion!

But I encourage Vegeterians/Vegans because they lessen the chance of my meat & butter supply diminishing!

I'm fine with vegetarians as long as they're rational. I'm with a vegetarian who is fine. I understand his reasons for being vegetarian (although i think he's a bit misguided )... I just can't stand the hypocrites and i've seen it alot with vegetarians.

This girl wears cosmetics she knows are tested on animals; eats fish; drinks non organic milk; eats non organic eggs and dairy, and gets extremely aggressive and opinionated towards people that eat meat.

I seriously think my meat eating lifestyle is less cruel to animals than the shit she consumes.

U usually don't find vegetarians or vegans with fur coats, etc. If u do, they obv haven't chosen their eating habits from a compassionate view, they just think it's a healthier diet.

If someone turns vegetarian/vegan whilst already owning leather furniture, etc, they would usually keep it or give it away, the item would defo not get wasted, throwing it out would be the worst thing they could do as the animal has died because of it. And all animals, like humans, only live once and get one crack at life.

Same here. If for some medical reason i had to become Vegeterian it wouldn't bother me the slightest, but to give up butter, eggs, cheese and the occasional bit of A2 cream would drive me nuts.
