Winning does matter.
If West Ham draw/lost to Manure tonight then we move ahead of them into 6th with a win over Chelski.
It's a guaranteed Europa spot for next season if we don't get over Sevilla.
He's been crap but his last game was great. For me Skrtel looks shot, which is a shame.
Not sure why Smith isn't starting games like Watford when Moreno is hardly setting the world alight in a defensive manner.
Oh yeah, Europa game in between didn't count.Smith was suspended.
Why would Kolo leave if we win it?
I too am confused by this
Not that he'd leave but he'd probs party with Mama.
Quite unreal the career he has had, I think it's forgotten he has won 2 Premier League titles, 3 FA Cups and an African Cup of Nations. Lives in the shadow of his brother a bit which isn't quite fair.
He wants to end on a high. Why would Kolo leave if we win it?
After a quick google of what you're referring to, I read his quotes as him saying he's leaving regardless but would like to go out on a high.He wants to end on a high.
Has it been mentioned that if we win the Europa League, Toure will leave?
So if Toure leaves, Sakho gets suspended, Ilori gets sold, Caulker finishes his loan...
We are left with Lovren, Matip, Skrtel and a returning Gomez. (Lucas as well can fill in at CB).
Milner is the only one to consistently put in good crosses too. Unfortunately not from corners though, which is something none of the others can either.
Well that would suck if we lose and he goes. Would offer him another 6-12 months in that case. After a quick google of what you're referring to, I read his quotes as him saying he's leaving regardless but would like to go out on a high.
I'd go with that XI with just one change.Chelsea in a couple of days.
Winning doesn't really matter, but this probably the last opportunity for our best 11 to get some good form under their belts before the cup final.
