I personally have no ill feelings towards danger and remember all the good games he played for us. I never questioned his passion for the club and that he gave his all for the right years be was with us.

Will I boo him? Maybe, but only as I boo other opposition players. There is no further resentment on my part.

Understand others may feel different.

interesting quote from Sloane ''As he let us know, that's a decision he made for his family and his partner Mardi,'' Sloane said.
So he didn't make it for himself?

I'm not really into booing but encourage anyone who is to give it their best. We want AO to be an intimidating place for opposition.

The complete silence is a good idea but that would requite great discipline and organization.

I know Danger says the booing won't bother him - but he did lose his temper at that Port game. Can't remember exactly what it was but off the ball having a massive brain fade, hadn't seen him do that kind of thing in the past much. He did tear them apart later though...

He wrote that massive article about his departure and I think deep down he wants cheers and adoration, not boos.

Wonky decision making under pressure extending to the off field.

If crows players don't call for the ball from him in tight situation in a pack it's a wasted opportunity it'll be hard to erase that muscle memory. He may just handball it straight to Sloane or Thomson at a stoppage if they call for it.

I've done it before.... works a treat, the other team gets pissed but hey it ain't illegal and we need a leg up cos we certainly get no favors from umpires.

You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din!! :)

Of course I'll boo him - as I did Tippett.

My advice to everybody is the same - boo your guts out and get it out of your system. After a few good boos it'll be just about gone.

Everyone's a winner that way :)

Hopefully he gets a clearance and kicks the wrong way Vince style .......

Should ignore Danger and target Selwood. Maybe throw a heap of these at him when he is near the boundary!

Should be a quiet night then with only 50 people booing him ;)
I like to think we are simply a representation of a bigger supporter base. Although I am a tad concerned about the representations of some posters ;)

So percentage wise I see an approximate 60+ percent in favour of boos. It will grow throughout the night.

The joke will be on us though. We all know that he is going to win his fair share of possessions and influence the game....and it is going to frustrate us when he does the amazing.....but I say boo!

This thread can finally be put to bed after tonight. Going to work in my Crows gear. If my boss has a crack at me, I will say boo. If my wife rings me in a meeting, I will say boo. If after work drinks only include Super Dry, I will say boo. If any of my staff piss me off, I will say boo. When Geelong run through their banner I will say boo. When Danger gets a touch I will say boo. If we lose, I will say boo with a mix of boo hoo.

Yup today is a boo day.

I reckon there will be heavy boo's his first 4-5 touches, then it will die off by his 35th or so.
Yup if he has a blinder we all may have lost our voice by quarter time. Bronx Cheers are going to be awesome though!!!

Such a selfless act......

two media pressers in a day... ah the sacrifices...

Interestingly, I think he'll also feed off Jacobs. I wonder if Jacobs will subconsciously tap it straight to him ...

I'll probably boo, but I know he'll feed off it. After all, it IS all about him, and negative attention is better than none at all.
