Here's something for you.

Hawthorn achieved more flags during it's period of "dynsasty" and it 3 peated which is a fantastic achievement. They achieved better results in that regard than Geelong.

But we all know, Geelong were a better team, better players, better all round in fact. In time, when the hysteria settles and everyone has a more balanced view on history, neutrals will look back from 2000-2015 and say "Geelong were the best team of that era".

Except nobody's melting. It's enough to point out the desperation in Geelong fans who actually lean on AAs in comparing dynasties. The reasons why they do it are obvious, they are last in the pecking order.
