Don't blame me, you mugs believed Ameet would be enough of a cabbage to even look sideways at Punt Road.

I did hear that we are well in for Bagley and Gleeson from Bombers though, seriously. Dorado wants Billings, given us until tomorrow to decide. Word is its gonna happen.

What??

TOM Rockliff is likely to have led the Brisbane Lions for the last time and his playing future at the club is also under a cloud.

Rockliff’s leadership is under review while the final decision on whether he is a required player next year will be postponed until a new football boss and coach is appointed.

His captaincy days appear over, with Dayne Beams and Dayne Zorko the leading contenders to assume the leadership.

Rockliff upset Zorko last year with his abrasive leadership style but the pair have made up.

He was also involved in a physical altercation with teammate Ryan Harwood at a team social outing this season. That was the same day where he had an angry text message exchange with welfare boss Craig Lambert.

Although the matter was dealt with and there was no black mark recorded alongside either players’ names by the administration, it further weakened Rockliff’s credentials as a captain in the eyes of some teammates.

It is understood the Lions’ board were underwhelmed by Rockliff when he presented on Leppitsch last week.

I've heard word that we are going to try and get up to 3 high ranking Tigers players and are offering Billy Longer up as trade with our first.

Not Dustbin Martin or that bogan ruckman, but pretty big names is the word pretty excited to find out who go sainters

???/???

My god there are so many clubs right now in bad shape, I praise the lowad that we have Summers Finnis Trout Bains and Richo steering the ship here, and no bad news stories.

Dons. Lions. Freo. Suns. Tigers. Port. Bulldogs. North. You'd be nuts to go near any of them right now, unless it was to scoop the last bit of edible meat from their raggedy carcasses.

Edit: I forgot to include Blues on that list who are slowly getting their shit together off field but have a list of pure garbage. Still makes me laugh that they sacked Ratten and brought Malthouse in, Eddie MacGuire and Alistair Carlson must laugh themselves to sleep about that every night.

Zorko the best established player at the Lions bar none. He'd be my choice for captain if I gave more than a passing shit about the Lions. They are toxic right now, all of em.

Zorko is a gun we should leave Rocky and chase him.

great post mate

going through this rebuild and seeing how other clubs are copping has made me realise we aint that bad

compare someone like kozi to how morrabitto got treated, both in times of turmoil but we managed to do it right. freo failed. then you look at how they're treating their senior players

even the dogs at a time of strength on field seem to be making so many stupid decisions and just seem so prone to drama

Please God no, don't want to give up a first round pick for this flog. One of the least effective "star" midfielders in the game.

I was going to string this nonsense out for a while longer but I'm already bored of it so I'll tell you now I just made it up.

People saying they would take Cotchin or anyone else from out of the Richmud for fksake, so depressing. I'd rather James Hird run our joint than take any more tigers, they pick/create anti-players. Polo and Fiora the last, those names are perfect examples of what Tigers players are/become. No no no no no no no no no. Taking anyone from Richmond is like sailing across the ocean in a boat made of teabags and toilet paper.
Bloody hell mate you had me dreaming of a Ty Vickery/Taylor Hunt/Steven Morris 3 for 1 deal, thanks for getting my hopes up flog.

Cotchin would be great in our midfield. He needs to get out of that Den of disappointment.
completely agree.
The Captaincy and the clubs unrealistic expectations of finals with a mediocre list barring a few players, have weighed heavy on the shoulders of Cotch and he looks exhausted mentally.
Getting out of that club would be the best thing for his football life.

Lets not forget he was a high pick and a runner up in the Brownlow. He Has a lot to offer including leadership. Would become our 2nd best mid behind Jack.

would be stupid not to get him if we had the chance.

Finnis was the best thing to happen to the Saints. Last week walking in front of us a pair of gay guys were walking holding hands over the bridge coming to the footy, they stopped at the merch van to look at scarves. The women of my house are pleased we went hard at a womens team and all the off filed dramas have stopped. The Saints players are always engaged in charity and community stuff too. We have completely turned it around.....touch wood.

If that happens to be true I imagine Brandon Ellis would be one of them, but I doubt it's true, especially since they seem pretty happy with Hampson in the ruck.
**** yes! Just what we need - another stat-padding half back flanker!!!! You beauty
