After this post it's probably a moot point to say he was talking about the supporters.
Must say I'm most worried about the renowned forward pressure of DuckPoo and Cyril
![]()
how about this forward pressure;
I'm not sure you quite understand your role and involvement as a club supporter if thats the kind if thing you're going to use in an argument.http://s.afl.com.au/staticfile/AFL Tenant/Hawthorn/PDFs/2015_HFC Annual Report 2015.pdf
Read it and weep, handbagger
Some great play there by Dew, Roughy, Buddy, and Williams. I wonder if they'll play that well again this week.
Oh wait![]()
Not true at all. The Lions have over $13 Million in debt, which just so happens to be the same amount as Hawthorn had in a savings account at the end of last year. That amount the Hawks had banked has likely risen to over $16 Million now and that's not even including the $4 million they have in managed funds.I'm not sure you quite understand your role and involvement as a club supporter if thats the kind if thing you're going to use in an argument.
By the way, Hawforn has the highest debt in the AFL

My god this topic has been done to death (it was the original topic of discussion) and it's so boring, but if you really want to have this discussion again flog, riddle me this:Not true at all. Western Bulldogs and the Saints also have a larger debt than Hawthorn. Awaiting the end of year report now as by then the Hawks debt will be around $6 Million and rapidly dropping.
$8 Million debt at the start of the year that has returned around $60 Million in profit the past few years.
Hawks financial powerhouse >>>>>>> Geelong financial minnow peasant.

My god this topic has been done to death (it was the original topic of discussion) and it's so boring, but if you really want to have this discussion again flog, riddle me this:
a) If hawforn is such a paer-house, why did they almost fold/merge in 1996?
b) why did they have to buy a landfill site in Dingley for their next training facility?
c) why did the AFL & MIRVAC have to bail them out by letting them take ownership of Waverly for $1?
d) 48%
e) Why does Hawforn have the largest debt in the afl DESPITE winning the last 3 flags? (sauce: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-ne...sses-mount-for-afl-clubs-20160206-gmnb1h.html)
f) Hawfone currently has over 70k members, why are your crowd numbers half that when your homeground seats 100k? (by contrast Geelong averages more than KP's capacity due to 2 games at Etihad and 1 at the G)
Now please apply some savlon to your back passage, buy yourself a blow up donut cushion and move on.
I'm not sure that you quite understand the difference between good and bad debt. You have also failed to recognise that HFC has the ability to service this debt and could actually pay it off immediately. The debt was used to purchase assets under a JV and not to service running costs.
While I'm at pains to overload your little pea-brain with the important details, but take a look at the total members' equity number - that's the figure you need to refer to when determining financial strength of a business.
PS. FYI that Total Assets number is around 5 times higher than yours. Geelong Football Club - officially a minnow
Morning Hawfies. So we're getting awfully close to gameday, and we've yet to hear from you whether this game matters or not. I hope this isn't going to be like 2011 again where you were bundled out in humiliating fashion after losing the QF to the Mighty Catters, and claimed it didn't matter.![]()
Squib. That can only be determined once 1st October rolls around. Hopefully you'll be still interested in talking about footy at that point
how will it feel getting beaten up by a minnow on Friday?

Geelong pays the full equalisation tax you D/Ha) We were in the middle of a deep premiership drought - 5 years FFS.
b) So we don't have to train at a shit university to get on a decent size ground.
c) cause everyone likes us, and cause Stevic told them to
d) lesbians rock - well the ones I see do anyway
e) Cause da hawks are taken over da world, and doing it with your savings minnow
f) Hawks revenue = $71m. Cats revenue = $49m = minnows. And you have Motlop on the cover of your annual report = loser minnows. If Hawks fans went to games we just get to spend more money so the Hawks can pay more tax to prop up shit clubs like yours - fluck that - Hawks low attendances is a protest vote. We send just enough to keep Stevic on side, but not too much to let big brother get complacent
Geelong pays the full equalisation tax you D/H
Who?Sorry tigerboys
