Why is Petrie even being interviewed? Petrie was a teammate of half the WCE coaches. That is just embarrassing.

Redden's probably not getting as much as Adamson was supposedly getting. Redden has proven he can get 30 possessions at AFL level, just not with the Eagles, whereas Adamson hasn't proven jack.

You ask why have we interviewed Petrie, do you know for a fact that we have? Or do you believe what you hear in the media?

Except everyone has the same amount of money to spend.

Unless u offer 1.3 mill to these gun mids for 6!years, they won't even start thinking about leaving. And two clubs have this sort of money. Rebuilding teams with no senior players at ass end of table and new franchises with both just kids to pay. We r neither.

Competition is too even for players to come to WCE just because we are WCE. People need to stop thinking that. If you have a choice, why would you choose to fly every second week when u don't have to?Not that it shortens careers but mainly because it's a pain in the ass. You really have to love flying to do that.

Funny that people want sumich to be coach given few years ago he was the problem within the club with his influence on woosha and all that. God we are such w***ers as fans.

As far as I can tell what he produced was on par with or exceeding what could have possibly been expected of somebody who had been out of the game for years and had never been on an AFL list.

Most teams have their top 5 players then a gap to average players, it's just the way teams are made up. Your expectations of the Eagles are fairly unreasonable, but I suspect you know that......

Hang on, he went to the US on a baseball scholarship for 5 years, he chose to do that, then suddenly wants to come back and play AFL, with the big boys. He chose to turn his back on a professional baseball career. We agreed to sign him up, outside of the salary cap, on more money than your average rookie, I reckon, so he hasn't had any of his professional life wasted. Clubs have to make tough decisions, his was one of them and he'll go back to baseball, I believe. All is fair in love and war, but you need to understand he has NOT had any of his professional time wasted, he was paid for every year of that time, both by baseball and football, he couldn't get it much better than that.

No, NicNat won the game, didn't say anything about turning it. Yes, Shuey got us into that position, probably along with a few other players, you don't do it on your own.

The main thing that pains me with Corey is that he was unfairly dropped by East Perth late in the season, and that we are a club are moving forwards with players that I don't consider good enough to take us anywhere and Corey at least had the potential to offer something a little less...vanilla.
