No Mans Sky is the reason I'm seeking out reviews now instead of buying games at 8am on launch, because Sean Murray and Hello Games failed miserably on the promises to delivery ratio. That game was a shell of what they said it was going to be. I enjoyed it for a bit but it became very boring very quickly.

No Mans Sky is the reason I'm seeking out reviews now instead of buying games at 8am on launch, because Sean Murray and Hello Games failed miserably on the promises to delivery ratio. My take having not played it at all: It wouldn't have been despised if it was like 20 quid.

Full AAA price. Unbleevable.

I never play anything on launch. I let it simmer, get patched then I play a polished product for far less. No publisher releases games that are solid at launch. They push developers far too hard and give unreasonable deadlines that result in rushed products. When i see a game is delayed these days, I take it as a positive.

I hate putting off something I really want to play (only one or two things a year fall into this cat.) because I know I get unnecessarily critical and cynical about my favourite stuff and if I enter them with preconceived notions of negativity (from reviews) I don't give myself the chance to really love the game.

Comes charging right at me as I browse Rogue One figures. "Don't make eye contact," I say to myself as he brushes past with his girlfriend in tow.

Charges out of the store then charges back in and belts the Big W staffer who wanted to check his gf's bag.

Then it was on! Security rush in. Somehow, the young fella breaks free. Bystanders smash him. Young fellas Mum gets into it. Fists are flying.

The girlfriend starts swinging at the bystanders fighting her boyfriend. Bystander swings. BAM! And she's down for the count.

Young fella breaks free AGAIN! This time grabs some scissors. Now he's trying to stab people.

Meanwhile, his Mum starts flashing her ****.

Absolute chaos ensues. Then a stand off. Eventually, the cops rock up, cuff him and lead him away.

All I wanted was Director Krennic...
