Holy Cow, i just realised Ben Jarman in available in this year's draft
I've always thought it was next year's
COME ON YOU MOTHERgooseS BRING THAT BABY HOME*
If we don't pick him, you know he will become a star somewhere else - like, say, HAWTHORN - c'mon guys, do it
* EDIT: as in, if Ben still has to make a selection, we should have been throwing the kitchen sink at him and his old man.
Spot on, Harry will play AFL next year bookmark it. Then we can see if hes got something or not at that level before putting a better contract in front of himI'd suggest a one year deal would allow Harrison to push for a better deal should he play some games next year.

Don't think a pick would come back our way tbhI like his trade proposal of
Possible Trade Scenarios:
- Brisbane trade Tom Rockliff and their third round pick (47) for Brown and Cam Ellis Yolman
New CBA and salary cap tooI'd suggest a one year deal would allow Harrison to push for a better deal should he play some games next year.
Hey all,
Through I would pass something on that may be of interest, now I'm not saying "confirmed" or "it's 100%" but will tell you what I have seen.
I have a family member who is close to a high ranking offical at Carlton, they showed me an SMS from the offical saying " we will be looking hard at Cam Ellis-Yolman".
There were a few other names on the text that people have discussed like O'Meara but these names have already been talked about, it didn't say anything about what they would offer, if it would happen, only what I have stated.
Personally I think he would be a good get to help out Cripps, guess we will see.
Go Baggers
I'd start the car, seems a bit light to me.

There's no way Carlton do that. None.
The Gibbs + 24 (our 2nd rounder currently) for Adelaide's 13 + Lyons trade has been mentioned in some other threads this morning as I believe the rumour was floated on Trade Radio ?? sometime earlier today.
The rumour has copped a barrage of negative response by Carlton fans, which is fine as people will have their own views about the merits of the deal and whether it is a good deal for us or not.
But, there has also been a barrage of negative response from fans centering on the legitimacy of the rumour, and so I have come on here to dispel that, because last night I was informed about this exact same trade scenario from a VERY VERY VERY reliable source. I cannot reveal the source suffice it to say it is someone who works at Carlton and it's not the guy who carries the water bottles (think high up in the on-hands footy department). I actually mentioned this trade via PM to a fellow poster here in private earlier today, prior to seeing the rumour mentioned in other threads. You might chose to see that as further illustrating the legitimacy of the rumour.
What is important to note here is even if this rumour is true, and as I have tried to illustrate my view is this comes from a VERY reliable source, this doesn't mean this trade will certainly go ahead. What I was told last night was that this trade is by no means signed off. I imagine SOS must have 100s of like trade scenarios he is working through, and so there is only a small chance this trade, in its current proposed format, will eventually transpire.
But, the whole point of this post was to inform fellow posters that this rumour is, in my view, 100% genuine and almost certainly is something the club are at this stage at least contemplating. I cannot express this any more clearly.
Please do not PM me asking about my source as I cannot reveal this.
The flipside is that the club could finally be starting to get its act together with regards to holding onto "not quite good enough" players for far too long. Examples include Grigg, CEY, Kerridge, Martin, Shaw, McKernan, LJ...I'd suggest a one year deal would allow Harrison to push for a better deal should he play some games next year.
Too much?Spoke to a player manager early in the week who also said he expects Gibbs to come over. Tends to exaggerate a fair bit (said dustin Martin was 'very close', and hartlett to Richmond before it all blew up), so take most of it with a grain of salt.
Also says Rockliff didn't pass our character test.
To be fair to Trigg...Like theres no way they'd give up their best ruckman for peanuts?
Or their best 3 goalkickers to other clubs for nothing?
Remember they have a guy called Trigg at the helm.
I hear it can be used in special reactors to generate electricity, too.Panda monium? Like it!!
Looking at games played is one thing, but of those who have played more games than him, I would take Lyons over Jacobs, Atley, Cripps, Batchelor, Lester, Green, and about the same as Guthrie & Howe. Wallis, Smith, Darling the only clear ones who are better imo. Lycett probably as well due to his height. To put it into context, Lyons was drafted in 2010 and has played 55 AFL games.
Here is the 15-25 list from his draft class:
1 15 Geelong Billie Smedts Geelong 38
1 16 Port Adelaide Ben Jacobs North Melbourne 77
1 17 North Melbourne Shaun Atley North Melbourne 132
1 18 Carlton Matthew Watson 23
1 19 Hawthorn Isaac Smith Hawthorn 135
1 20 Fremantle Jayden Pitt 10
1 21 Sydney Jed Lamb Carlton 37
1 22 Father/Son Western Bulldogs Mitchell Wallis Western Bulldogs 93
1 23 Geelong Cameron Guthrie Geelong 108
1 24 St Kilda Jamie Cripps West Coast 98
1 25 Brisbane Patrick Karnezis 25
6 of 11 have played more than Lyons. 5 of 11 have played less.
Here's the 26-35 group (same draft):
26 Priority West Coast Jack Darling West Coast 128
2 27 North Melbourne Kieran Harper 40
2 28 Brisbane Ryan Lester Brisbane 80
2 29 West Coast Scott Lycett West Coast 49
2 30 Richmond Jake Batchelor Richmond 83
2 31 Essendon Ariel Steinberg 10
2 32 Brisbane Joshua Green Brisbane 81
2 33 Melbourne Jeremy Howe Collingwood 120
2 34 Carlton Patrick McCarthy 1
2 35 Port Adelaide Ben Newton Melbourne 17
5 of 10 have played more, 5 of 10 have played less. Lycett (49 games) is reasonably close to Lyons (55) total.
Looks to me as if a 26-35 pick is about fair for Lyons.
Too much?
Must have only scored 3/10 ..Also says Rockliff didn't pass our character test.
There is no way Lyons is as good as Cam GuthrieLooking at games played is one thing, but of those who have played more games than him, I would take Lyons over Jacobs, Atley, Cripps, Batchelor, Lester, Green, and about the same as Guthrie & Howe. Wallis, Smith, Darling the only clear ones who are better imo. Lycett probably as well due to his height.
Again, unless we are replacing Lyons with a better player and not a draft pick, I don't support getting rid of him.
