Really? If I was them I'd threaten to burn 8 and re-draft O'Meara, OR just redraft him in PSD. Adding pick 10 isn't going to make a h3ll of a lot of difference if you already have 4,6,8...
So they burn two top 10 picks to keep a player that doesn't want to be there. Makes sense:drunk::drunk:

And if he goes to the PSD Essendon will take him

Some of it is unwarranted but he brings it upon himself. He needs attitude adjustment surgery.
Perhaps you would like to shear with the rest of us exactly how?

Do you think hes pulling the wool over our eyes?

Should we tell him to ram it up his arse?

Is he off chops?

Nn could take longer to come back or not come back the same and im not sure how confident they are of giles
Vardys an insurance as i see it

They have said they want a Forward-Ruck rather than a pure ruck as back up on the list.

I would suggest they are looking to play Lycett as a pure ruck role next year, with Vardy as his #2, where required.

Giles they consider more of a pure ruckman who would cover for Lycett if required.

That's how I took it anyway.

Barrass
Mackenzie
Schofield
Brown?
How many backman do we need. Plus I refer to my very earlier post in this thread. Pavlich started as an AA backman. What would you prefer an AA defender or forward? If McGovern works as a forward he eventually replaces Kennedy. Barrass at one end McGovern at the other sounds good to me

Brown is gone.

Four KPD on a list isn't excessive, particularly since we seem to like to play three.

That is how it looks, and very logical it is.

Ablett, JOM, Bennell, Swallow and Prestia was going to be the AFL's next powerhouse midfield and halfway through 2014 they were looking the goods

Shoulders, knees, nose, knees and just over 2 years laters all thats left is a broken Ablett and a near crippled Swallow
Yep them and gws should be neck and neck

Saw a thing with him on the news yesterday he by admits he needs his grandad around if it wasn't for him he wouldn't be here, I imagine it will either be us or freo in that case and seeing as im pretty sure we are the only team with and Indigenous issues and welfare officer id like to think its us

Any indigenous welfare officer.. apart from Karpany do we even have indigenous players?

Fairly certain we are indigenophobes these days. We won't pick Ryan or Bolton. Bank on it

SPP, Bolton, Ryan & Waterman - would be an amazing draft. But we would need to nab another pick in the top 25

Trade next years 2nd round and 3rd round for Essendon pick 19

12: SPP
19: Bolton
34: Ryan
54: Waterman

Why on earth would Essendon do that deal? They would have to think we'd finish wooden spooners for that deal to have any upside for them. Only then would they get Pick 19 (before compos etc.) and 37, in what people are saying is not a particularly strong draft, while giving up a handy pick in a very strong draft this year. It's more likely we're going to be at least playing finals (fingers crossed) so at least pick 26 (before compos) and 44 is more likely.

Doddoro would piss himself laughing.

U wot? What's JOM going to do, not earn a million dollars? GC only have to look at how they've gone vs how GWS have gone to see the value of picks vs proven player. What would be pick 10 get them that 4.6 or 8 wouldn't? This ain't fantasy football, it's 4 years until those picks mature into real players, they're going to be cellar dwellers anyway, might as well put principle in now, because they're going to be having this issue every year. For them, the ready player is probably a bigger need than the pick. Surprised they didn't get into Brad Hill's or Jordan Lewis' ears before those trades happened...

Tom Mitchell is not a #1 mid, so pick 14 is not unreasonable, plus Sydney have players they are happy to move into that spot (plus salary saving).

Wellingham, Hill, Jetta. I seriously doubt the club would be avoiding picking indigenous players. I do agree we won't pick Ryan or Bolton though but it'll because they're crumbing forwards and we don't do those, we'll go for another HBF for sure.

Apparently Barich said on 94.5 this morning that we put an offer to Ballantyne yesterday but had to withdraw it when we realised it wouldn't fit under our cap.

Sounded like complete BS to me

I don't think we've had any genuine interest at Ballantyne

What f***** garbage! As if Emperor Vosso would make such a rookie mistake. He even looks like an accountant, theres no way he would get the numbers wrong. The nerve!
