I swear that some real estates agents have no intention to actually sell houses. Looking at a couple of properties that I know have lake views, and you reckon they'd show a picture of that, right? Nope! Not one picture, however if you come this way, we'll show you a picture from the back verandah view, of red dirt and scrub!

Some property managers are just as useless.

Who am I kidding though I'll prolly D/L it for a giggle

I'm guessing that drums are at volume 12 while the rest of the band is at about volume 4

that's what listening to St. Anger was like

No, they were all level. They just sounded so bad it made it seem like that. Lars must have been a fan of that playschool song, 'Banging on the pots and pans'.

From my memory of watching the St Anger film clip many years ago, it sounded like they detuned the drums.

I liked that St. Anger footage when they told Kirk no guitar solos lel

Death Magnetic had some good songs they just went for so long

They were like long winded and poorly written essays. Compare that to Tool who have long songs but they somewhat tell a story.

Struggling to pull off longer tunes well is probably a symptom of working with Bob Rock.

If only they could actually release an album every now and then. 10 years since the last one is dumb, and it was 5 years before that.

Not just a Metallica problem when bands go head first into snappy production & condensed songs etc. they always struggle when they try to get back to their roots.

some kind of w***er?

Should have been the title of that 'tallica doco.

Edit:
What is this spec mod majik?
How comes your w a n k e r doesn't get filtered?
Why the hell does it get filtered anyway?

Death Magnetic's songs were a collection of good riffs that seemingly were mashed together on paper with no real flow, structure, and fluency within the composition, resulting in various changes that never really went anywhere and tracks that outstayed their welcome, like some sort of Dark Knight "You either finish a good song or keep playing long enough to become a shit song".

Ironically he made a 10 minute song with Bon Jovi which I reckon is a cracker

*retreats to fallout shelter*

What's the worst album you own a physical copy of?

Roger Waters - The pros & cons of hitch hiking.. for me but I probably have worse if I think about it
