Not really, no. The price of quality CBs has sky-rocketed the past couple of seasons. 50m is probably too much but if that is what we have to pay then so be it.

Apparently Lallana will be back for Watford but Hendo is likely done for the season.


Feel really bad for Hendo. Such an underrated player which really shows when he is out injured. Up until the start of last season he was virtually bulletproof and never missed barely a second through injury. Now after a brilliant first half of the season he's spent the second half of the season injured. Really hope his injury problems aren't chronic otherwise we've simply got to let him go. Been hugely missed the second half of this season.

I reckon not only do we need a new CM because Hendo gets injured a lot but we probs should keep Lucas as well to be a backup CM because our squad is so thin.

Also buy a CB so Lucas never has to play there.

Oh a CB is an absolute must. The amount of time that Lucas & Klavan seen at CB this season was scary. And a top quality CM is a must too. Perhaps Hendo will go back to being bulletproof again in the future, it's really strange for someone to have next to no injury issues all of a sudden be plagued by them. Sturridge for example was always getting injured through his career wherever he played.
