I thought he had been for a bit to add some experience to our sanfl backline.

Really seems to have dropped off since coming from Geelong, either that or the VFL standard is no where near that of SANFL.

I would say VFL, WAFL and SANFL have a very similar standard similar age bracket and make up of players obviously more AFL listed in the VFL but second tier players where clubs delist 5 or 6 of them every year anyway

Not a great deal of differences in standard but if you are playing for s weak team in that comp it doesn't help your cause

Didn't the SANFL bring in a cap on the number of AFL listed players in the reserves sides? Or was that just for finals?

17 in Finals. They brought it in this year after we kept winning last year and had to drop carey

Did not have to Drop Carey,
Crows played 3 Finals, Both Shoemakers and Sprigg played in 2 games Centrals and Sturt, it was only the South Game they play a full list.
But yea the SANFL did bring in the rule to stop both Port and the Crows from running a full AFL side in the Finals.
