Thought he was fantastic tonight, one of the best ruck performances we've had since Ryder was ripping em to bits on Anzac Day. Deserves to keep his spot for the next month based on tonight.

Ryder is the best ruckman in he comp, let's remember that next week if he touches up tbc and not carry on like the world is about to end.

Immense. Smashed Mumford in the ruck and around the ground, taps to advantage were glorious at times, laid some crunching tackles (that free kick was bullshit), took strong marks at both ends of the ground and slotted two beautiful kicks from 50.

That was the complete game from Tom, our clear best on the ground and top 5 for both teams.

It was one of several bullshit frees that didn't get either a mention or replay. Just rubbish calls, yet nothing said. You get one borderline call in the Dreamtime game and the whole league loses its collective shit.

**** off.

Really impressed, was someone saying a few weeks ago he should be traded? Its a good problem to have 2 ruckmen performing, don't think they can work in tandem given Luey can't really play fwd & it would slow us down too much in an age where fwd pressure is so important. Could see it working against several teams where we wouldn't necessarily be exposed for pace, Collingwood, Carlton, Hawks & Nth come to mind, don't think Port would be a good team to trial it against though.

Glad to hear Tommy had a good one, also glad I stuck up for him last year somewhere in this is thread but I am eternal optimist with players I take a liking too.
Was clearly injury affected when last being forced to play seems to be completely over them now and mumford is one tough opponent.

Keep it going champ!

I've seen Mumford play a fair bit this year and I don't know that I've seen anyone stand up to him physically much better than Bellchambers did today. Really quite happy with what I saw today.

Its just nice to see him fit and firing after what seems like forever.

Will be nostalgic to see him take on Ryder next week.

Next week against Ryder will give us a truer indication of T-Bell's standing - At least he knows Ryder's game.

His tap work has been awesome the last two weeks. Been pretty creative and seems to work it down to the mids well, something I'm never sure Luey does so good.

It was glorius. Good old fashioned bullocking rucks going at it. A small battle won amidst the war

Good to see he still has some good form in him. Still needs to hold a few more marks but he made a difference and played up to his better form from 3 or 4 years ago.

His stats are somewhat more impressive when you realise he only had 1 possession in each of the first and third quarters. So even though he had a good game, one of his main weaknesses was still on display which is his tendency to go missing around the ground for patches within games. If only he could play every quarter like it was his last (pun intended).

This is why he's better than Luey. I don't like the idea of Daniher playing up the ground too much, but if he does because his athleticism can offer an advantage some time, TBell can lead up as a forward, smash packs and kick goals. No disrespect Luey, but you don't even see that role as part of what you should offer.

I have to admit that I had gotten to the point with Bellchambers that I had basically forgotten what it was about his game that made him capable of challenging Leuenberger (even though Leuenberger is nothing special).

I never expected that he would so comprehensively smash Mumford nor did I think that he was capable of rucking almost a whole game.

I think that his game stands up because of the physical presence. It will be interesting to see if he can keep up with Ryder. If is going to throw around his frame like that each week, boss pack marks and hit the scoreboard he'll speed well past Leuenberger.
