Silvagni plays every game he's fit...that number will be a single digit, but still.Same with Sam Rowe and Silvagni really.

I'm hearing that Hopper will leave GWS. He apparently likes it there however his parents are in his ear about coming to Victoria. As weird as this may sound, his parents aren't impressed with some of the pranks his housemates are playing.

So cats now 'confident' they will land Hopper AND smith plus after gablett. That would be some coup.Menzel/Motlop you'd think gone, lonergan and Mackie retire, could happen?

Who goes out for him?Silvagni plays every game he's fit...that number will be a single digit, but still.
whose positions would they take?Agree strongly. Put Murphy or Gibbs in hawks premiership teams and think about that for a moment.
An interesting angle on this is potentially how attractive CFC would now look to PARENTS of potential recruits - Bolton's inclusive approach to family and staff (see staff and club morale up due to inclusiveness across ALL staff at the club, see parents footy game, Bolts telling draftees of '16 in the journey ep1 to help around the house at xmas time "show parents you've become a man", just the tip of the ice berg in terms of examples), his emphasis on community involvement (seeing the big smile on Bolts' face re Armfield winning the Jim Stynes medal) and strong emphasis on good character and maturity are all huge signs of a very strong culture that will assist creating not only successful footballers but grounded, mature young men. All of this would be incredibly appealing to families when discussing a move to another club....I'm hearing that Hopper will leave GWS. After his appearance on the news the other night I'd say that was very likely. He looked like he was struggling not to shit-can Carlton and gave non-committal answers only. I'd say Rowe would do OK in the forward line if given a whole pre-season training there under Sav.
I don't know, but the point I was trying to make is if you surrounded either with a strong midfield it would be a different kettle of fish. I wasn't suggesting that either of them COULD have played in a successful hawks premiership side by replacing Mitchell or Lewis, for eg.whose positions would they take?

Anyone less willing.Who goes out for him?
Starting to think with all this other talk re clubs and trades that we may miss out altogether on the mentioned players out there.
https://au.sports.yahoo.com/afl/a/36809970/casboult-speaks-on-unsolved-afl-contract-situation/Missed this - care to elaborate?
Id read it as Cas is another clubs plan b. If they cant secure their first option they will give cas the 4 years. Carlton are Cas's backup if no one bites. As good as gone...Id prefer him around for 3 years..but, theres the horizon.
Yup - that's how I read it.I read the above interview with Casboult as he is definitely gone. Players always give it away - most of them are bad liars/poker players..
OK Then, What's the Kelly situation??I'm hearing that Hopper will leave GWS. He apparently likes it there however his parents are in his ear about coming to Victoria. As weird as this may sound, his parents aren't impressed with some of the pranks his housemates are playing.

agree with this.Assuming we got ok compo, losing someone like Cas is the very definition of taking a step back to take three steps forward. He's important now but we won't win a flag with him
