Good, make him feel like he's letting us down.Jenkins was recapping on 5AA how Pyke announced Govs re-signing to the players after a team meeting and the players went nuts, imagine how Lever would have been feeling then?

He goes into the PSD with a million dollar one year contract as his demand. You get him, spend a million bucks on a player that never plays for you, and trade him the following year for MAYBE a late first. All teams just got a 2 million dollar war chest a few months ago so lions and Suns would easily be able to afford him, then trade a contracted player the next year for a profit. They would be insane not to snap him up.
Why would he never play?He goes into the PSD with a million dollar one year contract as his demand. You get him, spend a million bucks on a player that never plays for you, and trade him the following year for MAYBE a late first.
Brisbane and Gold Coast are broke. If you think the AFL would let them do that (and all their staff are AFL men), then you're nuts.

We actually hold the cards here. We have least to lose.
Least. Lever has the most to lose.We have the most to lose with lever
But that's why we have to be prepared to lose it's a huge risk

I don't think he actually gets paid if he refuses to playHe goes into the PSD with a million dollar one year contract as his demand. You get him, spend a million bucks on a player that never plays for you, and trade him the following year for MAYBE a late first.

Not really. We either lose him or don't. We will only end up with 1 other player (eg Doedee) so I'd be happy to risk itWe have the most to lose with lever

Pyke doesn't strike me as a man who does anything without thinking intently about it.Jenkins was recapping on 5AA how Pyke announced Govs re-signing to the players after a team meeting and the players went nuts, imagine how Lever would have been feeling then?

Pyke doesn't strike me as a man who does anything without thinking intently about it.
Yeah exactly. He could half ass it if he wanted to but that'd probably hurt his value to much in the long run. But refusing to play equals a breach of contract.I don't think he actually gets paid if he refuses to play
If he's made up his mind to leave I doubt he cared much.Love to be a fly on the wall and see lever's face
Jokes?so apparently lever is next up on the footy show
He actually scares me more than Phil...& phil was a scary guyPyke doesn't strike me as a man who does anything without thinking intently about it.
Well you made me watch 5 mins of that show so I hate youyep, thought i would have caught more by now![]()
As I said earlier sending him to the PSD is dependent on what we are offered. If we are offered crap then sending him to the PSD means all we lose by not trading is crap. Sure we lose what we would like to get. Some would say two first rounders but in reality we only lose crap.
I'm loving getting to "know" Pyke in the last 12 months. I'm bloody liking it. Doesn't fluff around. Tough. Bit arrogant. Knows what he wants. He was a great pick up.He actually scares me more than Phil...& phil was a scary guy
