Great thread, would read again.

I went through here this morning, after seeing 5 pages added since yesterday, and there was some ridiculous stuff in here. Then the troll got started, and got entirely too many bites for their material.

Not a rumour but a summary of a boozy conversation my brother in law had at a recent function. He asked Ricciuto about Lever (paraphrasing)... we're not paying $800k plus for marking HBF...he wants to get back to Vic and extract maximum dollars...The Dees?...he's not fussed, it will cost them their 1st rounder...Dogs, Stk, Collingwood, Carlton?...It would make the Gibbs deal less complicated...

Someone had rumoured that in his exit interview he said he wouldnt ask for a trade. Thats obviously been proven wrong. The reality is if he was definitive on staying he would just come out and say so. Saying you are under contract means that you are open to the idea of a trade. Perhaps hes going to play the angle that he hasnt requested a trade but if Adelaide "choose" to talk to the CFC which has nothing to do with me and if things so happen to work out between them then ill be happy to go along.

Not much of a Bluemour however I bumped into Jarrod Pickett today and asked him about Kelly and Gibbs. He is a massive fan of Kelly, as a person and a player, but is unsure on whether he will come or not. He 'hopes' Gibbs stays but again is unsure. When I asked about what's going to happen during trade period he said that Hopper had re-signed and so did McGovern, possibly meaning we were keen on both.

On a side note, he definitely looked much fitter than when he came to the club last year. He didn't mind having a chat about his footy.

On a side note, he definitely looked much fitter than when he came to the club last year. He didn't mind having a chat about his footy.

He sounds like he had some really exciting bits of conversation, but it didn't quite come together.

I'd expect next year after a full pre-season, he'll be able to put together conversations all day, filled with spectacular highlights....

Looks like he had no problem getting the ball when he was playing so he definitely has the talent we need in the centre.
