why was the gws theme played after their goals , it was a Richmond h9me game after all?

Why was the gws theme played mmediately after the final siren and before yellow and black?

Why , oh why, oh why?

why is the GF being played at Richmond's home ground? Adelaide have earned the right for the home game after all

why oh why!:)

After every Richmond goal there was a graphic on the screens and a big tiger roar sound.
When GWS goaled they put a graphic on the screens and played a snippet from their song.
There actually were two teams playing after all.
GWS kicked a goal after the final siren and by default they played their song snippet again. I think that was an error as the game had ended and Richmond had won by then. Just put the winning song on!

After the game obviously a decision was made was us to go first

When do losing sides get their song played post game normally? :$

All your questions are answered below. You can now stop with any conspiracy theories.

It seems that while they won't let you into the MCG with flares or glass bottles, or umbrellas, they will let you in with a trombone.:)

Yeah, this confused me. No way would you get that through the gate usually, must have been something organised ahead of time due to the unflattering crowd numbers.

Being first to the ball will do that, your club should try it.
What does my club have anything to do with yesterday's game? Awfully sensitive aren't you. Just enjoy the GF week.

If their song was played over the speakers after their goals, that is a bit dodgy.
It comes across as highly cheap and corny, treating fans like children.

I mean sure, do it at GWS home games to reinforce their brand, but doing it at the MCG is like letting children finger paint at the Sistine Chapel.

A goal was kicked after the siren. Not sure why they had a bit of the song played, somebody at higher level obviously had a smart idea to even up the crowd noise or drown the booing or something. Really who gives a ****, If I was in your shoes I'd have better things to be worried about.
Wasn't there, but wasn't that just the bloke playing a trumpet?

They played the GWS song over the speakers after a goal at the WC final as well. Sounded like a dodgy AM radio and was really weird.

It actually wasn't a Richmond home game. The AFL runs finals and chose to stage it at the G, appropriately. After the game obviously a decision was made was us to go first because the Tiger celebrations would be loud and long, again appropriately.
These are really trivial things to focus on when your club just made the GF
If that wasn't a Richmond home game, then I don't know what is.. Lol

No worse than 2007 when Richmond beat Collingwood and the PA wasn't working so the Richmond song didn't play.

Why was Geelongs HOME QF played at Richmond's home ground? Tigers fans really can't complain right now.

You didn't notice the brass band we brought with us?

They were the ones playing after goals.

Same thing last week. Sometimes it was snippets from Big Big Sound, other times it was generic polka music, once or twice it was music from game of thrones.

Yesterday I think they stuck with big big sound.

Had nothing to do with the AFL or the MCG or anybody.

But hey, outnumbered 91,000 to 3,000 - you still heard us.

It seems that while they won't let you into the MCG with flares or glass bottles, or umbrellas, they will let you in with a trombone.:)

Lol 3000 more like 300
