Footnote : I saw plenty of Atley and Drew playing here in the TAC Cup Comp and they are both decent prospects, Drew in particular I saw a lot of at my local club the Rebels, he's a high production mid with good endurance, good overhead and really cracks in at the contest. The few times I've watched him in the SANFL he's been played mainly in defence while a bloke Summerton that will never play AFL as long as his brown eye points to the ground plays in the midfield....all in the quest of SANFL premierships instead of developing the youngsters for the next step. #PortLogic

Matching in terms of him choosing the financial rewards versus staying at Adelaide. If we match he is likely more to stay.

Rockliff is a small forward that can go into the middle. He is a very good player.

Motlop has plenty to offer.

Watts has shown he can be valuable.

Menzel in the right role can offer positives, but he is the least attractive of these four.

For the Power to add 3 of these, they will need to make some big decisions with their current list. If they do, they will be topping up? I could understand that strategy if they had say lost a prelim... But that is not where I see them at this time.

Is a lot of eggs in one basket, but they wouldn't be the first team to take this route. In not convinced that it the right move for their list, but who knows.

It will deliver a quick burst of hope to their supporters, which should not be underestimated as a need for them.

This is more from a personal perspective, like known to the Sloanes directly.

17 goals for a small forward is a pretty average return.
If you're going to fork out 700k+ for Rocky you aint playing him as a forward.

Handy to have a mid that can rest forward and hit the scoreboard instead of heading to the bench for a rest.

It will be an entirely different exit to any others imo. Together with Tex and DT, he will have held this PG together during the worst of times and pulled them up to where they are now.

Will be waved goodbye with a smile and will never cop boos at AO.
