You can pay that for him, he missed 8 games in 2016 because of the knee, was injured again mid year and again just before finals this year.

You don't overspend on players with recurring injuries, look no further then o'meara and hawthorn for your example why.

Perhaps the Crows should ease your fears and take him off your hands for the pick 16 we might otherwise spend on Gibbs. It'd be a big risk for Adelaide, but I'd imagine Carlton would jump at the chance to get a first rounder for such an injury plagued player.

Difference is Carlton have Cripps wrapped up contract wise and would be fighting hard to keep him.

I thought my point was you don't overpay for injury plagued players, even if Cripps were injured enough to be classed as that we don't need to buy him as we already have him.

I would watch more carlton games live than you i would say , Been to 10 games this year and my best mates are Carlton supporters and they are just as concerned about how sos is going about it and the amount of gws players coming into the team.

Just a question for you , With all the ex gws players coming into carlton (players the gws are happy to let go)
How do you believe that in the next 10 years Carlton will be better than and beat Gws

Cause plenty of players have left clubs eho didn't rate them and became guns. Hustory is littered with them.
Also marchbank was a required player..gws didnt want lose him

Constantly having a go at Carlton for idiotic reasons is trolling.

You question how Carlton can ever be better than GWS if we keep picking up players they are prepared to let go...either you are trolling or just have no clue.

Just because they weren't as rated by GWS at the time does not mean they can't become better players in time or win a premiership...not sure how you don't know that when you got someone like Townsend in your team who was from GWS and not a very good player...but in a good system at Richmond has been able to deliver.

There is more to winning premierships than who has the better list, otherwise GWS would win every year but they aren't.

GWS lost the game at the selection table by playing Deledio & Stevie J as well as too many tall defenders and were out coached in the prelim.
Their list is way more talented than Richmonds and with Clarkson coaching they would have won and won easily

I am balanced but the carlton supporters here seem to take it personal when the question is raised on a public forum, As i have mentioned many time i have a number of very close friends and we go to alot of Carlton and Richmond games and its what has been discussed and they agree also that Carlton keep going to the same well and believe that is a mistake.

Dont know why when these things get asked or commented on everybody believes that we are having a go , Its just an opinion and its also shared by many of your own supporters.

The only time i have been 'unbalanced' was when Parrot was posting on the carlton board and the *****wit baited me once or thrice

Carlton have failed to land Kelly, Rockliff, Hopper, Smith and Saad now. It has been a pretty disappointing start to the trade period so far for Carlton.

They won’t let Gibbs go now as the team is probably going to stay the same except they will just add Kennedy
