I hate to nit pick but if Mots won't go to the Crows and won't go to 17 other clubs. Does that mean he's not going to play AFL next year? I guess you didn't really define 17 pointer AFL clubs though...

That would be an insulting offer. If I was interested in trading Wines, which I'm not, then Pick 2, a player, and next year's 2nd rounder would get me talking.

jake Neade getting 2 goals a game is a joke. He scored more than 1 goal once this year and that was against Gold Coast who never had a proper coach.

Will he even get a game next year? With a team where Robbie and chad with 3 talls And SPP being tried in other positions I also doubt he'll play over Boak.

I agree....sure he can bring pressure if he's switched on but even then he has nearly zero footy smarts..........

Just browsing through all the delisted players so far. a few players that would fit in well for depth at the club are Ben Kennedy has speed and is an decent kick gives wing and half fwd depth that we lack,replacement for Impey. Troy menzel maybe as a rookie has talent to burn good depth in sanfl and at best a 30-40 goal fwd could be the replacement for Aaron Young. Jack Trengove had really good form in VFL and gives depth and replaces Achee and good leadership in SANFL. And Sam Collins had a very good year in 2016 but we have plenty of key back depth

I was trying to think of a comparable trade that has gone down recently. Maybe Dion Prestia to Richmond last year? That was Prestia + Pick 24 for Pick 6 and a 2017 second rounder (Pick 35). I know you guys will say Wines is worth more than Prestia but I'm just trying to gauge where things would stand on the open market.

If Lever is worth 2 first rounders apparently, that would be the bare minimum for Wines. You would be asking for their number 2 and first rounder next year, or a straight swap for Tom Lynch.

We know the Crows aren't going to get two first rounders for Lever. You need to look at the end result, not what club spokesmen are saying they expect before the trade period opens. Plus, "two first rounders" is vague terminology. Surely you'd prefer pick 2 over picks 17 & 18.
