What do you make of that if you are Carlton?

They are getting an elite mid in LDU/Cerra/Dow, I don't think they would care.

Dow on RSN this morning, "Would be very special to play for North Melbourne, I would love it, it would be awesome. I would also be close to my family".

Not sure if message to Carlton. LDU or Dow it may come down to for Carlton if Freo go with Cerra/Brayshaw combo, so it'll be interesting who Carlton choose in that situation.

And will be linked up with his team mate O’Brien at pick 10

Nothing at all. It’s well known he grew up supporting them. Of course he’d love to play for them. But he’ll be more than happy to play anywhere

I expect BF to laugh at our pick 9 though - we'll probably get a kid everyone else rates later like a Lachie Fogarty, knowing Coffield won't get to our pick (highly likely to be a Saint if rumours are correct).

Fogarty is another one who has bolted up in recent times he'd be better than a few options for pick 9.

People dont usually state rumours as fact though, do they?

Id be more cut if my team had 8 top 5 picks, 13 top 15 picks and still finished below us. Id say bad luck but its not luck....

We like him but he won't last until pick 16, Brissie certain to target him at pick 15 esp. since they're taking Rayner.
9.7 ave tackle numbers translates well to AFL.

Personally I would take Dow. Think he compliments Cripps and Kennedy slightly better than LDU.

Your picks, your list and the evenness of picks 5 to 25 place the dogs in a position where they can select based upon player type.

I think Richards would be a good choice at 9 considering the retirement of Boyd and the impending retirement of Morris.

It might be a little early, but this kid really impresses me as an AFL quality smaller defender.

I'd be happy with LFog at 14 for Sydney too. Suits our style.

We do like our rebounders but we've stated that Crozier will be played back, while we have JJ, Wood, Suckling, Bailey Williams etc to fit in the back half with some mobile KPDs like Cordy & Adams and have just taken Trengove as a FA.

Some of the draft watchers think Richards has midfield potential and I really think we need a genuine burst mid. If Bonar gets anywhere near his potential on a needs basis he'd be great for us too.

High draft picks dont successfully complete a rebuild. Ask gibbs, murphy and kruezer....
