The guy needs to build a tank. Size not his issue.Cats website has him listed at 191cm and 86 kgs , which is a great size to go with his inside game with excellent hands. I'd like to see him put on another 10kgs of solid muscle over the next 2-3 years and turn into our version of Josh Kennedy (Swans) ...
except for the very one i made in that post. Both played good first practise games. Please don't even mention Jansen by comparison apart from size there is none.
He eclipsed anything Jansen ever did yesterday.

He got 15 touches, but I didn't see contested stats when I looked it up. He did score 6 tackles, so there's that.Don't tell me he found it 22 times 2nd best
disposals.11 cont poss equal best. Nah!

If anyones curious it was the 2014 game v Melbourne.
Yep, Clayton Oliver type is probably the best player comparison. Every team needs one.Considering he apparently has a poor tank, I was super super impressed with how he just kept on going.
One of those that seems a footballer, will be a monster in a couple of years as well.
And even though he gave away the free for taking out the legs, I absolutely loved the manic attack on the ball when he flew in for that ground ball.
Looks clean by hand, probably more a Clayton Oliver type that will get in and get dirty then release the outside runners by hand
Is the market up for that now?I already like my bet on the VFL Flag - imagine him in the midfield in the VFL with Kiel, Gore, Tsitas, and which ever mids on the senior list that do time in the VFL? Eg. Rotations of Parsons, Parfitt, Fogarty, GHS, etc.

He did do well yes.Tank seemed ok for a first upper!
What's the fuss.
Play him again at Colac.
He did do well yes.
The talk at draft time was about his engine and needing to build it. I think he Chook had said at one point it was his #1 thing to improve.
He also had the tonsil issues that may have kept him down a bit on being able to fully unload fitness wise - and if that had plagued him all the way thru - it may have even kept his draft stock down too.
Bottom line, the proof is in the pudding. I dont see him in the AFL Rd1 - and he many not make JLT 2 depending on how and who is playing in front of him.
I however imagine that as the post Tonsil issue time increases, so will the drums to get him into the senior side. If it takes a year, then so be it... we dont have to play kids just for the sake of it. If they are ready, sure.

Very happy for him to play again. He’s far more ready made than I expected.Tank seemed ok for a first upper!

Plenty of upside but i felt he was a reasonable chance to play early before the draft ..although in our group its tough get a spot. The main aim for min is to have a strong player for 2-3 years time.Very happy for him to play again. He’s far more ready made than I expected.

If i recall the draft correctly, and I may not, but Wells put in the Chook pick pretty quickly. Dont think there was much hesitationI couldn't believe he was passed over early in the draft till Wells said "hey hang on a minute,
Constable still on the table."
You don't get to dominate Australian Carnivals
unless you're cherry ripe fit and brilliant.
I just didn't pay attention to the knockers wanted him with our 1st pick.
It worked in our favour with a P37 (amazing ) like a free first round pick.
Just hope he has an injury free year.

No no Seeds melted hard that nightI don't want to go off topic but do we have a link to THE actual "I'm outta here!" melt?
