The positives thread

Positive that losing someone of Rocky's calibre isn't so crushing because of the talent we have at the club now, Rocky has been a great servant of the club but he is in his prime at the wrong time for us.

Sorry just edited your post there a bit.

Huge positive... we won centre clearances 17-12 and stoppages 27-15. Definitely something to build on...

it really is a turnover problem. Might be better holding on and getting htb against us with a fraction more time available to set up defensively. Gotta try something.

Don't disagree with you... but check the thread title! Causing opposition turnovers, now that would be a positive.

I’m hoping these next two games speak about our development. We faced both these teams early last year and late last year with noticeable improvement between them. Both margins were cut down overall and we just played better footy. Looking to hopefully not backtrack on that this season and to improve of the margin of defeat again.

As an actual positive, it’s great to see the 2016 class performing so well. It shows us that improvement in coming with new strategy and focus. Important to remember that it is easier to create good habits with young blokes than to change up habits of older players. So it’s a learning process for all of our younger players. Taylor and Robertson and really coming along now and I feel like some credit should go towards their habits changing for the better.

Understand what you are suggesting - the 7 teams that gave us our worst/heaviest defeats in 2016 all went on to play finals. PLUS, the tiggers worst/heaviest loss last year was by 76pts, against the crows. [might bookmark this just incase, for a Sunday positive? lol]
