If this goes ahead we can expect to see the north Melbourne Tasmania umpiring game all over again, except for every game this season haha

Wait 'til you see next years draw. I've come in late and only now digesting all of this. 2 things Rucci said looks like?
so it's not certain and does anybody have the link for todays aa show with the relevant bits.

I want to see this little hussey's smug demeanour wiped from her tangerine 'Grand at the Bay' head of hers.

Port's in a good bargaining position. The club can take advantage of the AFL's desperation to protect its image. It doesn't want its dirty laundry aired in public. Hopefully the result is an outcome that SPP and Port are comfortable with.
If I was Port, I'd be demanding the AFL's unconditional surrender and wouldn't let up until Gil's smouldering remains are found in the bunker.

That's exactly what we need to do to expose these campaigners.
Absolutely because it will never end until they are held to account. They have become a juggernaut that needs to be taken down. Its time the clubs reclaimed the game. These vfl d*ckheads earn way too much money and have way too much power. I'm sure most of them are pretty incompetent operators as well.

Port Adelaide young gun Sam Powell-Pepper is expected to miss a third game this weekend, but to have the wording of his misconduct charge amended in a deal between Port and the AFL over an incident involving a woman at a night spot.

The AFL have already decided Powell-Pepper is guilty of ‘‘conduct unbecoming’’ under the league’s new respect and responsibility policy.

Three weeks for conduct unbecoming? What a pisstake. I am so close to being done with the AFL.

I disagree, if she gets outed for her gutter journalism it will send a clear message to her and the next trashy reporter to be careful as every now and then their actions will be held to account - this is why it is so good that as a club we are standing strong for Sam.
Didn’t someone post that she shares a last name with the news director? Like you say she’s a dime a dozen, it’s the people at the top we want in trouble for this.

AFL is doing everything in it's power to make SPP admit guilt. If he does it renders his potential defamation case against their host broadcaster null and void. They do not want channel 7 getting in trouble in any form because of this **** up.
The solution is in that fat brown paper bag.

Rowe slipped in the words “sexual assault” and Rucci pulled him up very quickly.

“Be careful what you say, Stephen. Don’t use those words. The use of those words is what will be heading to the courts....”
**** yes good work rucci

Fu ... goodness me ... I can't believe this mob.

And as corrupt or inept that they appear to be, this mob will find a way sometime in the future to get back at us for daring to be in the right. It's the way of the land, the way of the workforce.
Look what they did too Hird when he called them out as liars. They are scum.

Very pleased to hear that Sam appears to be doing OK.
Depression often takes the form of outward exerberance. The old "won't get me mask".
We all hope for the best but it beggars belief Sam has not been deeply scared by this. Ch7 were relentless and brutal.
I doubt this will see the light of day. The big end of town usually wins and when they lose their loss is rarely public.
I hope it goes all the way but doubt it will.

Whats laughable with C7 is there own back yard is full of sexual harassment issues. Time this got some more airplay.

Lol

I know someone that worked for c7 for years and their staff parties had more cocaine than South America. Hypocrites the lot of them.

Name of a film eerily similar to this case in that the army wanted the officer accused by a sexually assaulted woman quickly and quietly court-martialled when the evidence did not back it up. The officer in question being guilty of being a sleaze but not the assault.

Hope the Hussey family get what's coming to them.. that includes Sam, her brother and a channel 7 producer who no doubt had something to do with her getting the job above a legion of qualified people with actual journalism degrees.

Little wonder she resorts to Today Tonight trash when she's entered through the back door like that. I wonder how many times she's reported on the actual sexual harassment suit at Channel 7?

Agree, that's really why I said "appears". I'm just hoping that with enough support from the club, supporters and family that he will have the resilience to come through this OK. At least the club is backing him by their actions as well as words by all accounts.

Hopefully, our confidential settlement will include fair treatment by umpires and no Cameron Ling calling our games ever again.

Carn. Hasn't this guy had enough fun?

I hope it's more a case of Port trying to look after the short and long term welfare of a player that the AFL and channel 7 are trying to shaft and label inappropriately.
Yes. That is by far the most important consideration here.

I really hope that the club is coming from this angle, and it seems from Kochie's words that they are.
