Good point. You forgot to mention:
- Collingwood have won a Grand Final more recently than Carlton;
- Collingwood have won a Preliminary Final more recently than Carlton;
- Collingwood have finished in the top 4 seven times since the last time Carlton has finished in the top 4;
- Carlton have 'won' a wooden spoon more recently than Collingwood;

I could go on but it gets boring.... I'm sure you get the point - Carlton have been terrible for a long, long time.

We’ve hung around the bottom but Bolts and the club has been very transparent that the entire club is being reset which means a bit of on field pain. At least we know it and have direction.

Collingwood did a weird coaching transition, went backwards every year, picked up players to push them to the top only to miss the finals (again) and lost their mantle as Australia’s biggest club. But because you’ve hit a patch of good form you have the right to try and trash talk despite not even winning a final since 2012.

Collingwood have a long way to go to that ‘too much success’ again.

There's no way you could really know this unless you're directly involved within the coaching team.

So if you're going to purely go by their assistant coaching roles, Bolton is miles better.
