Clarke averaged like 27p in his last 3-4 games of last season and nothing.

1st is a big cost however as you kind of see a 1st as a potential star player that will give you maybe 10 years.

Seems like theres new names every week that get injected into this trade mix and thrown out the next, it's like the media just tag on 'North's involved in this at every trade rumors'.

It's getting quite tiring honestly, and it makes the club look bad if nothing comes to fruition. I'm glad we're having a crack, but if it isn't true, I wish they'd stop reporting it as such. At this point give me 1 name that's surely putting pen to paper for us and I'll be back on board about giving a damn about any name on the trade table.

By the sounds of things, this years free agency/ trade period could be large.

Sloane
Beams
Gaff
T.Lynch
D.Moore
De Goey

Would take all of them bar Tom Lynch (reported fee in excess of 1.2 mil per season is ridiculous) and Darcy Moore who I think is a bit of a nothing footballer

Reason I'd be interested in Mitch McGovern is because there's a decent chance his brother joins as well. Would take some convincing though

Along with Browny and Taz, getting McGovern brothers would mean we'd have by far best KPP's in the comp. Unfortunately the chances are slim at best. Both may come to Vic but it'll be with different clubs.


Much more likely scenario is that Jeremy stays with WC and Mitch comes home and ends up with Freo.

I doubt we'd go hard at McGovern ×2 without having a proper look at Larkey and McKay in the seniors. They've both improved out of sight since last season yet still to get a game. Doesn't make sense.

Cerra is/was a tiger fan. I know he nominated North as his club of choice during the draft but I reckon that was so he avoided going interstate or to Carltank. We would be lucky to get him to nominate us now. That said would be a good pick up, at the right price...

I thought he was diehard north, one of the ones who missed out on getting picked by us was. Maybe Dow?

Dow is BFNAAK. Cerra was a Tiger but his mum supported North.

“I’ve spoken to most clubs in that range but they don’t give much away,” Cerra said.
