If Petch is going to force his way into the side any time soon he needs to lift his tackle numbers.

Agree on this and the sooner he can get the tackle production and oust Vripps thd better. If Petch is going to force his way into the side any time soon he needs to lift his tackle numbers.
Also failed to shepherd and didn't use his pace to any degree on the week end.If Petch is going to force his way into the side any time soon he needs to lift his tackle numbers.

I wonder who makes way for Venables, Brander, Sheed and Oscar Allen coming back to play for East Perth. Be a pretty strong East Perth side. Should on paper beat Claremont.

Fair enough. East Perth seems to be pretty up and down. Hope Vardy continues to improve and Venables has a decent return. I would think that Emac will slowly build back up.Unfortunately the game is played on the ground. If all emergencies are not needed on Thursday I see the following changes.
Venables if he comes straight in to the league side will take Dobson's place.
Brander in for Eaton will improve the forward structure.
Sheed should take England's place.
Oscar Allen will replace Schofield
All are upgrades except Oscar Allen. With Schofield out and having a underdone Mckenzie playing either Rotham or Allen will have to play sometime KPD and both have been found wanting when required during the year. Both Rotham and Oallen seem more competent being the third tall.Even with Sheed in the midfield I wouldn't be sure that east perth will win.Claremont nearly beat west last week perth which tells me they will be hard to beat.

And SheedThat’s a talented list of ins, WC’s future.

actually starts at 1.40 pmOur game is televised on Saturday from 1:30pm. Game starts 2:15.
Problem is that I expect Anderson and McKenzie will not both be on the ground at some point of the game.Only two games ago a player took Anderson out within a couple of minutes of the game and caused all sorts of problems for both Rotham and allen.Anderson will help take some of the pressure off Ollen and Rotham.
Beau Wilkesmaister has retired so that's one less key forward to worry about.

I went to the wafl site plus they never have a 45 minute pre game yak.i think the 1.40 start must fit into scheduling a afl game directly after.Cheers. Not sure why TV guide would suggest otherwise. You've stopped me from missing the first quarter!
Thank goodness Brander will be available.Very short forward line.I think you are right I don't think any on the interchange will survive the cull although I have noticed a few times where players from inside the 18 have been dropped to the to make way for eagles.I hardly noticed emac last week.I do query west coasts policy of playing players who have had lengthy injuries on managed time in the league rather then the ressies.I am glad they haven't rushed brayshaw in too early.Give him a few weeks to find his feet.Could be handy in the midfield but unless the royals start winning I fear another wasted year.B: Fraser Anderson O.Allen
HB: Mutimer Rotham Watson
C: Blee McGinnity Partington
HF: Wright M.Allen Wellingham
F: Venables Maginness Hille
R: Vardy Ameduri Ainsworth
I: Bayok Bolton Cahill Eaton England Gorter Hart

In: O.Allen, Bayok, Bolton, Cahill, Gorter, Hart, Hille, Venables

Out: Ah Chee, Petruccelle, Schofield (all WCE), Mackenzie (Partingtons), Dobson
With all four West Coast emergencies (Ah Chee, Petruccelle, Brander, Sheed) available I'd expect everyone named on the bench to drop down to the ressies. That'd mean no recall for Bayok and England's run in the seniors coming to an end.
No idea what's wrong with EMac. I'm sure we'll be told. Burrows is over his own bout of Partington's/timeout and has been named in the reserves, alongside Brayshaw and Olango.
