I wasn't suggesting that they can't make the GF - plenty of examples where a losing QFist has won the flag. But obviously you'd rather play a final at home.
Actually there is only 4 since the current system came into play in 2000.

3 times heavyweight champions in Brisbane and Hawthorn did it in 2003 and 2015 respectively and 2005 and 2006 when Sydney and WCE were in that middle of 10 games in a row where the result was 12 pts or less.

Sydney lost to WCE by 4 pts in Perth and won the GF by 4 pts in 2005 and then in 2006 WCE lost the QF in Perth to Sydney by 1 pt and won the GF by 1 pt.

We dont have a 3 time heavyweight champion or a Sydney /West Coast type rivalry at the moment. Under the scenario I first wrote about I saI'd Richmond could lose the QF and make the GF I didn't say they could win.

The 4 examples above and Sydney in 2016 are the only examples of losing a QF and making a GF since 2000.

Hodge a late out against Hawthorn. Gee a Lions win would put a smile on my face!!!
Nice thought but hawks have to much to play for and that should get them over the line. The big one we want is norf to beat swans that would put us in the top four with a handy two game break if we win tomorrow

Well Brisbane are holding their own right now (albeit thanks to ordinary goal kicking from the Hawks).

And yes, a Norf win tomorrow would be sweet.

Jenkins was actually great on the coverage. Honest, interesting and self deprecating. He seemed like a legend compared to the smug w***er on his right.

It was actually upsetting. Usually comes across like a massive doucheplatoon led by Tom Berenger.

:D She might colour code the manila folders too. ;)
The sad thing for her is that she could be the absolute perfect person for the role and fantastic at her job, even irreplaceable.
Yet her role is forever tainted.

Bris look ok...at least you can see positives, unlike Carlton which are complete trash.
Even their midfield on paper has looked ok for a couple of years certainly light at the end of the tunnel... Carlton forget it just fold

A 50-metre penalty to the Hawks led to the Whitecross goal. When the Hawks last played in Launceston they received a record eight 50-metre penalties in a narrow win against Port Adelaide.

The "Clarko Coffee Cup".

Yep...Fitzroy was better than this Carlton rabble.

Years ago when I went to what was Princes Park at the time there was a gate with HAZCHEM on it. Maybe there is something in the water there?

Tom Mitchell with 29 disposals at half-time and 552 in 15.5 games is having a great season but is still well short of last year. He had 787 in 22 games in 2017 so still needs 236 disposals in 6.5 games or an average 36.3 per game. Up to this game he has averaged 34.8 per game in 2018.
The most disposals his father Barry had in a season was 689 in 22 games for Sydney in 1991.
