I remember posting that it felt weird we were 11-4 because we hadn't actually been playing very well. And so it came to pass we'll miss finals.

I'd say were probably in that 8-12 ranked bracket. Poorly coached, but i dont think the list is in that great shape either. Time to rebuild. At least the last remaining stains of 2007 will be cleared out soon.

We haven't been a side capable of fluent cohesive footybally for four years it's draining just watching players completely incapable of carrying out a "game plan"

I knew we were in trouble as soon as I saw Watts as the loose man at the start of the last qtr.

We still needed to attack to win the game but we were already had a defensive mindset.

FFS we were kicking with the breeze. At least see how the first 10 minutes of the qtr play out before you go defensive.

Dumb coaching.

Dumb players with their decision making. See the same week in week out.

Things need to change immediately. It is not good enough at this level.

AND this is why i have no emotional attachment to this club currently. Always find a new way to disappoint and completely screw up the unscrewable. From hinkleys refusal to play a seocond ruckman to help share Ryder’s work load, to our inability to develop a decent forward structure or second key forward, to our total lack of ability and mental strength to hold on at the death. Done. Over. Out. Stuff then all. No interest in this team until Hinkley is gone, boak is gone, ebert is gone, and we have a whole raft of new line coaches to develop a semi functional structure and system.

He's right though but not for the reasons he thinks. He's right because when they went down the panic set in. It's the same panic we've seen multiple times each year from 2007 (and before that in the pre-2004 finals series). We just don't have the mental strength the older amongst us remember.

We were already on the well worn path to a loss when they went down!!

Then we battled manfully to create a stalemate for 18 and a half minutes but conceded two goals in under a minute to lose!!
