I heard today from a source that might be good that we are after Aiden Corr from the Giants, He seems like a fairly good player but I havn't seen enough of him, does anyone know more about him?

Not all. A few were saying Collingwood last week, most notably Jon Ralph.

I saw Jon Ralph say on fox footy a week or so back say he thought Tigers. IIRC this was dismissed on this board as he is a Tigers supporter.

Aiden Corr is interesting if only because he's a key back. He tends to be borderline best 22 when he's fit. I think about 3rd choice behind Davis and Haynes. Not the best match up on the monster types I recall? He seems to be injured a lot though. He's been out with a groin issue for ages.

What are your thoughts on Corr Snoop Dog and Knightmare?

Totally agree actually, perfect fit.

This I don't get. Why would anyone at the bottom of the ladder, looking at a several year slow build look at Goddard? I don't think it makes sense from any perspective to be honest. At least you can make some plausible arguments as to why he should come to Collingwood given our injury issues. Under no circumstances do I want him, but I can see the merit in the argument for him.

Think he’s a good size and I’ve seen him do some ok jobs.

For memory he’s missed a fair chunk of footy through injury though which obviously doesn’t help.

Think we’re better off putting some time into those types then spending big on May who I just don’t think will be value for money.

There would be no need to delist either, Magden is 192cm and is better suited to HBF and Reid is just made of scar tissue. I would like to think we delist a few short asses like Blair and Broomhead and add some much need height

Who we cut is going to be interesting and whether we target another defender like Corr probably depends on whether we give Goldsack another contract as an example. If we keep Goldy, Dunne and Goldsack on the list, hold onto Moore and draft Kelly we probably don’t need another.

The difference is that the players you mentioned were still playing well and more importantly weren't divisive influences on the field.

Why does it need to be anyone? We went into the season with about 2 or 3 less key position players than most clubs do.
