If Clarko is pushing Roughy out id say offer him the Hodgey deal 2 years plus a role as a forwards coach. A better kick than McStay.
For say a 3rd rounder.

What would Hipwood be worth on the trade table?
I know, I know it’s SEN but someone just said by text, Sam Petrevski-Seton to the Lions.

Impossible to value IMO.What would Hipwood be worth on the trade table?
Please god noWingard ?
Thought that, was more interested to see what Dylan thinks.Because he was a Lions supporter?
Seriously though I don’t rate him at all. Wouldn’t trade our second for him.
But SPS only wants to play for big Victorian clubs pretty sure that rules Us outIf there's anything to the SPS rumour he must want out,as the blues would not put him up for trade
Hartung’s delisting is a bit of a surprise. He was a much better footballer at the Kangas than he was at the Hawks - he had a bit of a hard edge to him and his disposal seemed better. I get that North are looking likely to pick up one decent wing in the trade period but Hartung’s form prior to his injury probably warrants more time on a senior list. (Not suggesting we’re the club to take him on though!)

Because stkilda r rebuilding and it will take years.... they will look at any options. Why would STK do that? They would only be trading for this years picks.

Wins our club goalkicking by 11 and is still 20 years old. Finish's 14th in overall Coleman Medal & has a better conversion rate than Buddy, yet finish's 7th last in our own BF 2018 player of the year votes which maybe says we don't really rate his year as supporters. Some posters say he has hands like bricks & kicks like a donkey so...He's gotta be worth a good trade for someone to come into our list with those stats for the year.Impossible to value IMO.
Fagan would know him very well so if there was the slim chance he comes to us, Fagan would know what to expect and know how to handle him. He's an Ex hawk and any ex hawk that comes to Brisbane I would believe Fagan thinks they will make us a better side.Have heard he's very uncoachable.
Yes the Rockliff one is a little different. But I'll put it this way - we'd struggle to get Band 3 for Rockliff if we were offloading him this year. Writing was always on the wall at this age with Rockliff's pace being an issue. If we really wanted to keep him we probably could have with a bigger offer - contract was on table mid 2017.I agree with your overall point - but your backup facts are wrong. Rockliff was offloaded as an FA for pick 19. About 3 years after Melbourne offered us pick 2 for him.
Other than that, Redden we probably got a pass mark, and Hanley we did well out of, but mostly because he's been perma-injured since then.
Wash your mouth out...What would Hipwood be worth on the trade table?
Get Jarryd Lyons if he ends up gone from GC. Seems to be on the outer and is an elite ball-winner.
Weird way to say “I think Eric is underrated by our supporters.”Wins our club goalkicking by 11 and is still 20 years old. Where do I find the "reasonable, balanced Lions supporter" you talk about? LOL. Not on our forum that's for sure because if you look back, there are much more negative comments than positive ones. Our expectations of this kid astounds me. In saying that, I am interested in what value our BF supporters would think he could be used for as trade bait give his year as outlined in my last post.Weird way to say “I think Eric is underrated by our supporters.”
How many AFLCA votes has he got this year? How many Brownlow votes? Did he get an invite to the AFLPA Awards? Does his lack of recognition in those processes mean that no coach, umpire or player rate him either?
I think if you focus on the reasonable, balanced Lions supporter, you’ll find he’s rated exactly where he should be - as an incredibly talented young key forward carrying a load that his age and physique suggests he should be faltering under. But I also think that ignoring his many areas for improvement does no-one any favours. And he’s got a heap of things he can work on. That’s what’s so exciting - he’s got the world ahead of him if he continues to work hard.
