Why do you think anyone would celebrate this? It's like evidence that it's the warmest year on record, sure it's good news if you want to prove climate change is a real thing that is happening right now, but it's also bad news because the world is heading for disaster and there is nothing we can do about it.

Same with mass migration. It is a tide we probably cannot stop, and will only get worse, but there's no use fooling ourselves that it is 'good'. Some people want to live in cloud cuckoo land where people from backwards cultures suddenly turn into responsible citizens.

The idea it was 'serious economic reform' is laughable. It was shifting even more of the burden on to those that could least afford it and tearing down welfare safety nets that Australians in general support. It failed because it was bad policy and others will succeed with economic reform if it's good policy.

And again - Lab/Green luvvies demonstrate that​

serious, sensible economic structural reform is dead in this country thanks to them.

Turnbull either did not have an original idea in his head - or else was too lazy to work on any. Personally I think both.

The man and his government was a waste of space and this is Abbott's way of reminding his colleagues of it.

Wrong. The colleagues who brought down Turnbull were all united behind Dutton. There weren't enough of them to get Dutton elected which is why Scomo got it.

I feel for classical Libs, they've watched their party being taken over by a bunch of trogs with no real ideology apart from an opposition to progress. This is how they find themselves in government with no actual policy.
