Sick of mentioning picks and wondering whether we payed too much or didn't.
Fact is we really wanted Mitch and got him.
We'll really only know how good Mitch will be for us next year......not this year.
Welcome Mitch.![]()

don't be ridiculous......Adelaide’s terrible year helped us with this deal in the end. We would’ve been expecting a pick around 40 when we did the deal last year.
Forward line starting to look like it could nearly kick 100 points.
YES now I'm excited. More of this chat please.
MOREPro tip: bringing the ball to ground against McGovern is extremely difficult. Lethal in the air.

You got a very talented player. I was hoping for a bit more in return but in all reality I’m just glad this is over and both parties are more or less happy.
I think for all our sakes we should probably just have a few years off dealing with each other now. Let you guys go back to hating Essendon and we can go back to hating Port.
Just watch his highlights (again, for the 4th time like I am).
So nice.
just need some ground level players to feed off the crumbs. Mcadam would have been nice to hold on toAdelaide’s terrible year helped us with this deal in the end. We would’ve been expecting a pick around 40 when we did the deal last year.

Don't see how they wouldn't be. A first round pick in this draft for a player who while super talented still hasn't put together a good season of form yet seems fine, maybe even slightly overs. My Crows fans mates aren't exactly thrilled with the deal which is always a good sign
I hope he enjoys our team bondage camps
Or is that Bonding?
One seriously impressive highlights reel...kids got immense talent.
One thing to be made clear is he's more a strong marking medium-sized forward, not a slow tall.
His highlights show he's got serious speed so although strong marking is his biggest strength, he's also dangerous on the ground. Showed good speed and kicked some goals from ground-level balls.
So we have our 2 talls and 1 medium sorted...we just need a few good smalls and our forward line is set.
mcgovern is a nice player but i'm super excited for what this means structurally for charlie curnow. in 2019 with mcgovern and mckay keeping the zoning defenders honest the sky is the limit for charlie
Correct. Opposition teams are going to have to really think about how they need to defend against us. We should at least have 1 miss-match we should be able to exploit.mcgovern is a nice player but i'm super excited for what this means structurally for charlie curnow. in 2019 with mcgovern and mckay keeping the zoning defenders honest the sky is the limit for charlie
