I know all involved would have had to agree to do it, and I don't like to be "offended on behalf of", but geez that Operation Live show seems uncomfortably exploitative. Is nothing sacred anymore? Is nothing private? Just seems like everything - in this case, a c-section birth - needs to be whored out for ratings, views, likes and followers.

Inb4 "don't like it, don't watch!"
Couldn't agree more. It disgusts me. Especially the way it's advertised like a boxing match, don't event try and dress it up as educational.

As ChappellI is saying, technique to short pitch bowling is terrible these days.
He made the same point after the Hughes incident, and without wishing to be disrespectful, if he'd gone back and across for a traditional hook, it's likely he'd still be here.

Do umpires actually watch the game these days? Pretty poor when players have to point out a hit wicket to the umpires. Not sure why de Silva was hanging around for, he knew he hit his wicket.

Idk but the umpires were making sure if it was hit wicket or caught behind, I think

Nah Heals is contracted to Fox. So it would Tubby with someone else
Heals did the Womens T20 world cup for 9 whilst he was also doing Fox. He also still does that Sunday sport show on 9. I think he's at both stations.

Honestly, de Silva should have just walked. It was always going to be given out.
Considering he looked down at the bail on the pitch, he knew very well what he had done. WTF? Was he hoping nobody would notice before the next ball was bowled?

you'd think the bowler shouldn't be credited with that as a wicket

Well, it could be argued that the ball Starc bowled caused the action that led to hitting the stumps.

But yeah, we need to barrack against Starc and hope he doesn't get wickets credited to him, and hope it leads to him getting dropped, just for a smug "I told you so" Internet credit.

Helmet complacency. People think they have more time to decide what to do with the short ball because they think the helmet means they can just get hit, rather than ducking or committing to the shot immediately.

He was walking off - it appeared as though he was asked by the umpires to stop while they sent it upstairs as neither umpire knew what happened.

I wonder what would have happened if Cummins wasn't awake to it? Starc had no idea and it looked like the cordon were focused on a review.

Not the worst FC career for a bowler.

It seems like footwork goes out the window with short stuff. People just want to "stand and deliver" with hand speed and using their eye (without actually looking at the ball).
