As long as the quality of football is improving, it is a big positive. Some really nice goals kicked this round. You are always going to get a round with a lack of competitive games, it happens in the AFL at various times as well. As for the conference system, it is becoming a farce. How they thought this was necessary in a 10 team comp, is beyond me.There's been so much focus on the AFLW being too low scoring and trying to create more free-flowing attacking football, but for me this has been one of the more boring rounds in the history of the competition. Some great quality football by the winning sides but no real competitive games. Between that and the conferences, which are looking more and more ridiculous with every game played and seriously devaluing the competition, it almost felt like an exhibition round.
