Get a non playing mid. I have Valente who should have reasonable JS once he is fit. (source: BigFooty, so it must be gospel) Non playing mids can be handy with rookies. The fact that he should get a game soon saves a trade later.

Currently have constable on the bench as emergency with butters on field. also have scott and drew on the bench.

Thinking of trading one of them to Valente ( or another non playing but likely to come in rookie) and taking constables score.

When is valente due to be right to play and how likely?
Also, probably would trade scott bc drew has dpp - silly trade long term?

Not for 85 points! If the player you take off field for Valente only scores 50, then you are only losing 35. Not worth it unless of course you end up coming second overall and lose by 20pts.

Maybe if he went 120/130 it would be seriously considered, but not 85.

Avoided disasters so far (if we can count Grundy as a one-off anomaly that impacts most, rather than an outright Titanic-meets-iceberg type disaster).
Moore experiment looks promising.
Clarke was stiff to only end up with 69 last night and looks like he plays a really SC-friendly role.
Cripps' good ton with the VC the only actual highlight though so far.
Bines to skipper the team on debut.

Last minute gone Petrecelle > Drew.
Feel both have shaky JS, but Drew looks a better scorer.
On bench anyway.

Collins or Scrimshaw absolutely doing my head in. Reckon Collins could score like Naughton, which was a very slow burn.
While if Scrimshaw builds a tank he could do very well, but he's just as likely to be dropped...
