Everyone loving that Carltons competition for bottom in Gold Coast & saints are both on 2 wins! Good luck to them if they think they can get 2 more wins than those sides for the rest of the season. Although North are a worry... Dees will jump them at some point.

Well Cartlon are doing their part. Now it's time for our own team to step up and win some ******* games.

Lets be honest, we never thought the Saints would be 2-1, Suns 2-1, Freo 2-1, Lions 3-0.

At this stage Im not sure who Carlton can beat, all jokes aside.

All teams will be thinking - gees how embarrassing if Carlton were to beat us so they just won't let it happen

Correct weight.

At this stage losing to Carlton, teams will feel it could cost them a top 8 or top 4 aspirations.

Carlton next 8 games are before the bye - Suns, Dogs, Hawks, Roos, Giants, Saints, Dons, Lions, Dogs.

Of those on current form and especially the form of those teams, Carlton lose their next 8. I will give them a chance to beat the Roos, if the Roos are 0-6. but geez the Roos will throw everything at them and have bigger bodied mature players. This could be Carltons grand final to avoid the spoon.

don't jump the gun..we have to beat the roos first. I will be at that game and will be very cranky and grumpy and unsociable if we lose to them

Lot of pressure on Carlton too, both on coaches and players.

Media also talking them up at every opportunity.

If we lose to the Roos, then for me not only is this season done, but Pyke's future will be a massive issue.

We pushed the Cats to their limits and they are the best team in the competition on current form. If this was in some shit hole like Tassie or NT, I could see us losing, but we love the Dome.

Surprised no one has posted this yet.

I like that the table doesn't even have "<1%" for Carlton to finish first

Does that mean after 10,000 simulations, Carlton still never finished top

That's even better than Dr Strange seeing 14,000,605 futures and only one where Thanos was defeated!

GCS vs CFC is setting up to be a pivotal game for the psyche of the Blue's team, their seasons aspirations, and their fans ability to believe!

Carlton win, and they beat a short priced wooden spoon favourite, something they should do!
Carlton lose, and they fall 3 games behind a short priced wooden spoon favourite!

Make no mistake, this game would be the first nail in the coffin, and its a big bloody nail!

GO SUNS!!!

so going by that, we have a 3 in 4 chance of a top 3 pick with an almost 1 in 2 chance it will be pick 1. On the other hand their best bet from us is between pick 7 & 12 with pick 12 being the highest statistically. So if we assume that the highest probabilities come true, we effectively traded picks 12 & 2018(19) for 2019 (1). In what world would any club in the land (other than Carlton) not beg for a trade like that to happen to end up with a pick 1

If they lose to GC this weekend I would be shocked for them not to finish bottom. Carlton have 2 games each against St Kilda and GC this season. If they don't finish at least 3-1 from those games they are all but certain to finish bottom as St Kilda and GC play each other again this season, so one of them will get at least 1 more win for the year.

This is the Carlton death-riding thread. Please keep posts to the narrow subject matter of how bad Carlton is! Lots of this hould be in the Non-Crows AFL thread!

Bit of extras can be nice though ... which of these would you rather?

So you're saying we're a chance to get the win against North this weekend?
