You go to him and say you will not be given an extension and (for example) Stevie J is now the new coach in waiting and we expect you to give him more game day and selection authority and he will be making decisions come this years draft.

We will not stand in your way if you want to leave at the end of the year.

Horse will walk at year end and be picked up easy.

Cost = nothing.
