Been saying the same thing from the start. They got caught up in one word of the whole message and lost the plot. If they were booing for liking the post its pretty low brow stuff. The whole thing got blown out of proportion starting at the top with the ARU.

Yes, plenty of confected outrage and sanctimony from the anonymous on this forum. When you support or make a statement discriminating against a group of people who don't choose to be that way, its not really blown out of proportion if they cop bad media about it.

Religion and Homosexuality are two parts of the community. One you can only choose to be a part of , the other you are born into. This. Goodes was booed because he was made Australian of the year and dared speak up about the plight of aboriginals. Those who claim to have booed him for diving conveniently neglect that he wasn't subjected to the same treatment for the previous 15 or whatever years of his career, and the start of the booing mysteriously coincided with the above events.

Ablett was undoubtedly booed beforehand, however this week was clearly on a different scale or else there wouldn't be discussion about it. He is being booed for expressing his hateful views and his belief that others are inferior based simply because they are gay. Or in other words, he's a homophobic count.
